How many stubs are you sitting on?

It’s an odd game for me, I have 1.5 mil in Stubbs, but no one I want to buy... Both Mickey and Trout done... It’s been like this for a whole summer for me, waiting on legends I want, and seeing future stars I don’t come out... I want to spend my Stubbs, but it seems like the content the release and my taste in players aren’t jelling this year yet.

I got 3.5 mil in stubs with alot of stuff I been sitting on to go back up to where it usually settles at.i had over 4.5 mil but said f it an bought Wagner for 890k...if I sell everything in my binder I'll probably be closer to 5 mil...like op said for some reason I spend alot of time in auction house flipping.idk y but I like it an also like the fact that I can buy anything I want without hesitation an fear of having no stubs when I do.this year has been great for content an getting stubs...plus I have everything completed maps showdown whatever else it's done lol

I bought Alomar and Feller. Haha
Share your thoughts on Alomar. He is the only expensive card in the game I don’t have and have been tempted. ( I have plenty of stubs as I have them “hid” all over to avoid that cap loss which in fell Victim to and lost 106k Before.
Honest to god, haven’t used him. Not even once. I bought him right before that event for Mad [censored] and haven’t touched ranked. The new event let’s you use legends. I’ll get to use him a lot there too.
He was my favorite card last year. Had to get him. His stance and swing is my favorite. I know his attributes came in a bit underwhelming, but I’m really good with his cards. BR rewards are ultra rare too. So I’m cool with the price. I like having some rare stuff on my team. It’s what makes this game cool.
I just debuted Alomar in ranked today, first game 2-4 with a HR, obv small sample size, but that sweet swing feels the same as last year

550k. Had 725k a few days ago which is my highest ever total in two years. I’ve had insane pack luck over the last three weeks (Scherzer and 3 Trouts) and with MVP Trout and Mantle done, I’m just chilling. I’ve got a ton of sellable inventory that would put me well over 1mil if I wanted.
I’m not a huge market guy. I’d rather just play the game. My experience is that guys who have crazy stubs treat this game more like a stock market sim than a baseball game.

So here is where you should invest that 1.5 m to keep up with inflation. Buy something that will only go up in value (BR rewards) or other cards that have little risk on the downside. Then when SDS releases a BR reward Honus you won't blink twice when blowing 1m on him. Cuz you will have turned that 1.5 into 5m

When Sale finally bottoms (after the stub sale) pick up a half dozen of him. Price will only go up when he is no longer obtainable. Just be careful and sell them off before SDS announces that the past WS rewards can be picked in packs or elsewhere.

No. There are plenty of people that have plenty more than me. I would say over 3mil is considered big.

That's irrelevant though. It's like debating how people made their money. There are enough people who have much more than me that I wouldnt consider my stubs balance as "big".
how is it irrelevant? playing the game correlates to making stubs - everyone's perspective is relative as to what constitutes "big" so who cares to begin with?

hate to break it to you but Starlin has been in a slump for two weeks he's probably not going diamond. Best chance was last week and he didn't go. (Watch SDS is reading this and boom Diamond tomorrow).

Yes and i was sitting on 105 of him, of course with him slumping i've pulled then back and will rethink my strategy for tomorrow. Maybe Jensen.

I got excited cuz I gave about 330k. Then I came on here and saw all these people with millions of stubs. That humbled me reeeaal quick.

Half a million with waiting on trout, max, degrom, ad and hoping bellinger drops some more....[censored] that stub sale.....still waiting for prestige 45 before I pull the trigger...near 34 right now....so hoping I atleast get one of them and not the others I already have. Likely sell my 7th inning reward I'm almost at as well

Irrelevant to the OPs question, which is what I was answering. How many stubs do you have , and what do you consider a "big" amount? How people arrived at the amounts they have is irrelevant to the question.
