CAP is TECHNICALLY best, but your CAP (should you choose to use him) should be at short.

If you don't care about defense, Posada is the answer.
IMO, either Awards Posey or FS Bart are the most well rounded catchers in the game (if you do care about defense)

If u want defense! Wieters! Best hitter posada! Best all around perez is very solid and cheap!
But best is CAP! BY FAR! Only catcher who might be worth it over your cap will be pudge or jimmie foxx if they ever come out!! Lol

I switch between Wieters Awards card, 99 Posada, and 99 Biggio. I think Panda is amazing as well from an offensive perspective, and is good behind the plate.

Defensively Wieters... offensively it’s subjective to the person. I can’t hit to save my life with posey. But I just well with posada

Panda very similar to posada except you sacrifice power for vision and contact

Torre was absolutely clutch for me in RS last night. Hit 2 game tying HR's. He has a good arm, but blocking isn't great.

Kendall batting 8th.
Arm is overrated. I still throw out plenty. People don't steal as much now that everyone is sporting 99's.
Kendall gets hits all over the field, and people sleep on him. Mine is prestiged and probably the most troublesome hitter in my lineup the second and third time through. Swing is quick.

Biggio is still the best catcher option imo.
Speed, great swing, serviceable defense and power above his numbers. He hasn’t left from behind the dish since I unlocked him
Only options I could see replacing him are 99 Bench or 99 Pudge

Jason Kendall is my most surprising player. Hitting over 300 with him and 130 with Torre.
Last year I had Kendall for a bit cause I hadn't unlocked Willie as early and he was an on base machine but could never get any hr.

posada offensively is great, but i play best with posey all around.

I know he’s not the best, but I’ve loved using Torre and have him prestiged. One of my best hitters and always comes through in big spots.

Best catcher for cheap is Travis Darnaud by far.
