I'm afraid there will be no fantasy-style drafting. Sure, DD teams can be cool but only being able to use the 40 man live roster that the team already has is pretty lame. Hope that's not the case.
At this point, I'm just happy they've given us something.. I could care less about a FANTASY DRAFT when you can use your own DD team... I'm glad they are making the people who like to destroy MLB BASEBALL TEAMS pay.. Lol!! Genius idea!! What's even better is that they've took out custom rosters so now when you join a league, some commish with some super messed up ratings are out the picture... This is gonna be awesome and it can only get better! The whining little babies are gonna have to join real leagues now because there's will flop lol.. If not, you'll have to go by packs instead of DRAFTING and quitting because you don't like your team lol... Sony Sandiego says " PAY FOR IT "!! I love it.. My preorder feels like a hidden bar of gold now!! I can not wait!! It's been too long MLB THE SHOW ONLINE FRANCHISE and now you are BACK baby!!! Thank you guys over there at SONY SANDIEGO!! It took 2 years but y'all put the work in and brought us something! God bless y'all!!
You can set team restrictions like overall, so people will be at the same playing level. I don't think there will be CPU controlled teams in this which is different than OFM. For example, a 5 person league will have five teams in it and thats it.
Here you go again with some more false information.... They've said nothing about not being able to play against CPU TEAMS!! If you make a 30 man league but you only have 15 users, I'm pretty sure thos teams stay scheduled and you can play the CPU!! Why would there be an option to chose the games in a series played if that's not the case? Why would there be CPU spots on the postseason Bracket.. Come on dude! It's the same as before with a little DD added.. Duh!!

First off, this is the part of the link I posted that makes me question if there will be CPU teams: "Regular Season length is determined during the creation phase of the Custom League by how many teams are in the League and how many times you play each team (1, 3, 5, or 7)." To me if this was a version of OFM and you selected the Yankees, the Yankees on average play their "division teams" 19 times each. This post is saying you can only face a team a max of 7 times.
Trust me, I don't hate OFM, I actually hope that this League mode will enable me to play a sort of "season mode" with my DD team on legend so I can use that as a warmup for RS.
BTW, it isn't trolling, I am voicing my opinion after I read a blog post from Playstation themselves. Get out of here with saying I hop online and type hate. I typed my opinion, which has clearly frustrated you. Relax, go lift some weights or punch a bag, get that angry out kid. It's good for you.

well thats beautiful then pal - you play offline till your hearts content - meanwhile Diamond Dynasty as i've known it since MLB The Show with Sammy Sosa on the cover - it was an online mode to play other human beings - by all means you do you whatever makes you happy, i play videogames to play online against others

Fair enough. There more than enough room for all of us in this game online and offline. I prefer to play offline because I just don't like a lot of the crazy game play that some managers bring....and the pausing and the lagging. I'm also not very good....but enjoy the game play and collecting. I hoping for a bit more stat missions in '20 than we had in '19 (not like 18 that's for sure) and the game looks like it will be great. Cheers...and thanks for the civil and nice response.

Offline only player here, I'd say none of us have "enough" I want something new in every mode, every year.
