Anyone noticed this? The only player in all of the prestiges who requires less hits than Thomas is Bellinger. Ortiz needs far more stats.

I wonder if they're lowering the requirements because so few "average" players (i.e. me) have any prestiges complete.

All my prestiges are pitchers minus Belli.

All of mine are pitchers and the Free Reggie from the Prestige XP path.

If they did good. Not everyone is an online player. Large programs like that should be able to be completed either on or offline. Maybe next year.

Still firm on my belief that making prestige online only was a mistake, especially when you push the idea that players can get everything by playing the way they want to like they did

I have a feeling that will be reversed next year.
Maybe something like 1.5 times the online requirement? That would mean someone would need approx 200 RBIs to Prestige Mantle.

Ah yes forgot about Prestige path there I got Jackson and Posey but didn’t earn them through stats.

so what about someone that plays online and offline? Will the stats somehow merge or is it one or the other? I hate playing offline but I do conquest in order to get the points for each inning. So will my offline stats somehow be merged with my online stats or do you think it should be offline or online only? Each their own requirement and you have to fill one of them completely instead of both together? If that makes any sense what I just said.

No one can answer that bro, it’s obviously hypothetical

I like the all time teams, I think it would be cool if they had squad battles or something like that where you could play teams each week and get prestige that way... That might be the only thing EA does better than SDS is a squad battle style mode.

It appears like they are doing this as a hopeful attempt to limit boosting since now they also added an AB requirement to the newer hitters plus trout. I don't know if it work as intended but that's definitely what it looks like

I was thinking about that as well. I think they need to be separate.
They could do it like a player program. Player programs have separate online and offline requirements with eah one being assigned a point value. Once you hit the point target either purely online or offline or a combination, you unlock the prestiged card.
So let's say you need 100 hits online, so offline its 150. each one would tabulate separately, but once achieved they are worth 10 pts each.

Yeah that was definitely their reasoning behind it. on average it will take 40+ 9 inning games worth of at bats. No more 1 hit and I quit bs, unless you're willing to do that 150 times, (and successfully get a hit) Lol.

I finished AB's before hits and runs on Trout so in theory maybe? It was close i remember.
