5-0 first try with no speed/bunt bs. Just ran my typical lineup. I usually only play on AS so I was expecting to have to grind on this as I’m playing them in reverse. I breezed through this and the AL game, the NL game was another monster though with Maddux..

5-4 for me. Scored 2 in the first two innings. Went down 1, scored 3 in the 5th. Gave up a solo blast to Vladdy in the 9th.
Oh and I ran an all speed team. Stole like 16 bases
Do you manually steal (L2 hold and release) or let the ai steal for you(L2 tap)? I ask because my speed guys keep getting terrible jumps and thrown out: Jackie, Biggio...

8-2... hit a 2 out grand slam in the top of the 9th to make it look more lopsided than it actually was

6-3, 3 run bomb in the first and then a nail biter until I finally scored a few more runs. Just recently switched to a monitor and my hitting has drastically improved and has really made this game more enjoyable. Would have been shutout with one hit on my tv...

I hate these not because it's HoF well actually yes because it's HoF as it puts me to sleep and after 1 i'm done. I know if I go for the second game i'll just die at my screen so sticking to one. Not that interested getting Ruth anyway tbh only doing it for xp.

6-0 I got Kluber over 100 pitches early in the 5th and splattered him. Ryan went with a CG 2 hit SO and his 122nd pitch was a 102mph fastball to end the game with a K, 14 K's total.

We got to Kluber early and knocked him out in the 4th.
Our pitching was solid:
Kluber- 7 IP, 1 R, 10 K
Hoffmann- 2 IP, 6 K(2 perfect innings)HR by Posey, Judge and Belli. Banks hit one for them on a 2 strike mistake for the only run.

First one I lost 19-3 or something after bean balling their entire lineup several times out of frustration. Second game I stacked lefties vs kluber and won 5-0.

4-0. Bellinger ph homer in the third. Posey 2 run homer in the fourth. Cruised the rest of the way.

Beat the all time team 9-3. The other HOF games were like 6-2 or 5-2. The 3- inning games I just get 1 or 2 runs then that’s enough for my starter. I did beat up on the brewers 10-0 though. That was kinda rude of my team

I jumped in last night to just give it a try and no expectation to even be competitive against the CPU, but I actually took the game into extras tied 5-5. Probably would've won if I hadn't brought in Chapman off the bullpen and given up a 4,000 foot moonshot to Mantle in the 11th.

I jumped in last night to just give it a try and no expectation to even be competitive against the CPU, but I actually took the game into extras tied 5-5. Probably would've won if I hadn't brought in Chapman off the bullpen and given up a 4,000 foot moonshot to Mantle in the 11th.
Bummer. At least he earned it. You’ll get it.

I'm thinking I'll give it another shot this weekend. I fully expect my second run at it will end in my favor.

I just got it 7-1. Once you learn to be patient and it’s not super hard. I swear to god the 3 inning all star games were harder!!

10-2. Kluber was WILD in the first inning, a bunt single, two walks and a hit batter, then Mantle blasted a grand slam with 2 outs to to go up 6-0 and send Kluber to the showers early. What a relief. My own Kluber cruised from their and I won 10-2. Only lost once during the whole thing, and I had never played a game on HOF prior to this. I was super intimidated at first, but it really wasn't too bad. Really fun. Excited to have Mickey, Babe and Trout now......

Beat the all time team 5-0. Got my first few runs by stealing and bunting but late in the game Reggie and Mantle both hit homeruns for me off of Kluber. Pitched Seaver. He was great.
Side note: Maddux in the NL game was easily the hardest pitcher for me to face in these moments.

1-0 CGSO for Kluber. Far cry from the back and forth first attempt where I lost 7-6 on a blown Gagne save....

Finally done. 4-2 11 inning win. Chipper hit the homer off Betances. Sadly, SS Chapman blew it for me in the 9th... He was just too wild. Happy to be done. One day I'll be as good as everyone else here.
