Thoughts on Inning Bosses?
-
What does everyone think about the bosses if it is Frank, Harper, and Gossage?
-
walter johnson not gossage
-
Has the 3rd boss been confirmed?
-
If anyone I play has picked WJ or Feller insta quit don't have the mental capacity to get me through the 38 minutes waiting on a pitch.
-
I doubt Harper can replace MVP Trout/Mantle/Walker
I just got Babe Ruth for 1B and Thome is still upset about the demotion
Walter Johnson...really? Yuk.
If it is Goose, I'll gladly take him.
Probably take Frank and run him out there from time to time.

Feller isn’t bad. Try Warren Spahn

They suck. Would have been a great time for a new 3rd baseman, MI or catcher.

I think it is 85% gossage, 15% anyone else. Gossage was in moments extreme so they will make him easily attainable
-
If it's Goose, my dreams have come true for another reliever. If not? I might sell this inning boss. I love Frank Thomas - I'm of an age when he was one of the biggest names out there - but I'll have Babe, Thames, or Thome I could use at 1B.

Yeah but 95 gossage was a 1st inning boss and wasn’t a whole lot worse than the 99. Feel like he was chosen as moments extreme 3 simply because it wasn’t a must have card. I just don’t see them using him again as a boss

Gossage was 1st inning boss last year. They have not repeated a single boss... I’m going with Johnson.

Walter Johnson is BP
-
Johnson is always trash in this game, easy pick to avoid
-
It looks like Goose. He's always a decent reliever but the 3 pitch mix can hurt him if it's still only 4 seam sinker and slurve. Probably going to take a long look at Frank Thomas assuming he's as insane as he was last year.

The play here is to take whoever is selling for the most and sell.
-
No interest in Johnson at all. So that's an easy pass.
Will end up grabbing whoever is the more expensive between Harper and Thomas and buy the cheaper of the two. I love both of their swings.
-
does Johnson mean that we will get new players for beach packs? None of them have any resemblance to something in the water. I expect Kershaw, Alomar and maybe Gehrig for the elite round.
-
Bryce might take Bellinger's spot in LF for me. Maybe. Getting to that point in the game where we all have too many good players.

See once I'm done with the Ruth moments (have AS left to do) 99 Ortiz will hit the bench if Harpers attributes look good. If not and Thomas looks better Babe goes to LF and Thomas to 1st.

Bosses have been really downhill since Ortiz, Mo, and Walker.
I had all 6 inning bosses and those were bad. Figured I’d buy them because 7th inning had to be good after that letdown of a 6th inning, I was wrong. Not one of these guys has a spot on my team.
Just sold the 6th inning bosses for a 50k loss. You could tell by their prices, many other people were thinking the same thing I was, then unloaded when they learned 7th inning is as boring as it gets.
