anyone else giving up on headliner packs?

I don't buy any packs. I have not got anything better than a Silver in all the free Headliner Packs I have earned through playing. I earned a 20 pack last night from the Ruth Program and got one Gold plus the Gold that comes with a 20 pack and a few silvers. A 20 pack costs $30K otherwise so had I bought it, it would have been a big loss. I have oulled quite a few diamonds from the TA packs this year and that's what helped me finish the Mantle collection.

I've pulled two headliners all year. I buy them from time to time if the card interests me in any measurable way, but I don't go in expecting to actually pull the headliner.

yea my 20 pack out of the ruth program was disappointing as well. i actually hit diamond on the one that was 2 packs. it was Lindor, but it was something.

Regular show packs are absolutely atrocious. Headliner packs are even worse. They should be called guaranteed silver pack. Why anyone buys these is beyond me.

Ballin is a Gold and Ballin is a Silver Headliner pretty much tells it all.

yea i was heartbroken on kris bryant. i had said all year up til his card that i cant wait for a diamond bryant. i dropped the stubs on the headliners and then had to drop another 85k eventually to get him
see just better to buy him man. As long as you dont have buyers remorse you are good. people sit there and tell you not to over spend the price will go down. Well sometimes the price goes up and then your screwed. I rather waste 10-20k over paying for a player than wasting 40k hoping to pull him and buying anyway

Ballin's are pretty bad. I don't know why they act like these are some prestigious packs. They usually suck.

Nope. Will gladly spend 37.5k twice a week on headliners. I‘ve had some good pulls and some bad pulls but its fun

I haven’t bought a single headliner, but from the free headliner packs they’ve given out I’ve pulled 5 of them! Again please don’t buy packs. Unless you have a ton of stubs!

Disappointment is a Habit and Silverliners have swayed me from buying packs. I just buy the occasional couple standard packs here and there and open any free packs.

I stay away from any packs that I have to use Stubs for. I just don't have much luck whenever I go out of my way to buy them. I have had incredible luck with free packs this year though.

Ironically the only headliner I've pulled all year was out of a TA pack when I pulled an awards Altuve.

its a joke that you can also get LS diamonds - like when that blue diamond comes up, and you HAVE BOUGHT A HEADLINER PACK, i only want that diamond to be from within THE HEADLINER PACK

i swear i havent pulled feature (current headliner or a revisited pack from programs or conquests) since Miguel Cabrera. I feel like if its someone i really want i may as well spend the stubs on them after a few days instead of dropping 38k and then having to buy the player anyway. just a little rant.. sorry.
