For the Ruth moments, I started off by playing in order, like I always do. Beat the Orioles. OK. This is easy. Decided to skip straight to HOF challenges at the end. For me, this is no easy task. I beat the AL East, 1-0 mainly because of a bases loaded walk. So, I skipped to NL "final" for the heck of it. Yikes.

I'm struggling away. I'm facing Sheffield in the bottom of the 5th, score 0-0. My wife walks into the room mid-pitch and says "hello". I look up to say "hi", wasn't paying attention and grooved a fastball straight down the middle. He blasted a no-doubter 450 feet. My wife says "Yay! Nice one!" I said "that wasn't me". She said "I thought you were good at this game. You play it all the time."

Top of the 6th, down 1-0. Scratch out 2 walks, then my newly acquired Posada hits a 3 run HR. My wife says "Awww... another HR? I'm sorry." I said "that was me this time". She said "Oh. Did you put it on an easier setting?"

Married 22 years. Love her to pieces. Still.

Nice man. My wife just knows to ask if it’s a real game aka H2H so she knows if I can help her with whatever she needs or not

Anytime the RNG gets too hard to handle just make sure you take advantage of that 7inning stretch if you catch my drift 😏 Baseball season back baby .

That's funny. My wife knows to look at the screen before talking. My rule is don't talk to me if I'm batting. If im pitching she'll talk.

Being single without a woman sucks, but being alone is gold doing this or other hard gaming stuff.
Just beat Alien: Isolation on Hard. Wifey doesn't need to hear me raging: 'How did this flipping alien know i was here????' Or "That was a perfect/perfect!'

To me I just keep thinking of the convo in Major League between Pete Vokovic (Bring him into the game SDS I want a Clu Heyward card) and Clevelands catcher "how's your wife and my kids" genuinely one of the better one liners to this day

I feel you. I love my wife, but anytime she talks to me while I'm playing my success rate falls to about negative 45 percent.
