Who would you pick from the Rare round?

Hornsby is the choice and it’s a no brainer. He’s the best second baseman in the game and they even made him better than last year. Good hitters pick up on Ryan easily and Robert isn’t better than many of the other outfield options.

I ended up going Ryan. I like Biggio and he’s about to be prestiged. Plus this Ryan is great. I dominated with his 92 and this one has outlier and a sinker. Hornsby does look interesting tho

I love Biggio but he hasn't seen the field since I got 99 Jackie and I moved Jackie to 3rd to make room for Hornsby. Dude is an absolute beast and has made some good plays at 2nd even with the silver defense

Hornsby will be the best non cap second baseman in this game. The hitting stats are too good to play anyone over him. If you want to play biggio play him at his best position, catcher, because imo he’s still the best catcher in the game

Yea key word on the market tho. I already have Biggio and I’m 10 runs from prestige Biggio. I feel even the base Biggio is better than Hornsby tho. I guess Ryan might be the pick
Just put Biggio at catcher and Hornsby at 2nd base . Biggio is not better than Hornsby at hitting the ball yes the defense isn’t what Biggio is but the bat is a premium.

Who do you have at short? I still have yet to replace Didi even with all the cards that have come out. My lowest overall player but arguably my best hitter.

Hornsby is nice, if you liked him last year, you'll like him this year. It's the same card. I sold him to get Robert, I'll let ya know what I think, but that D and speed in CF is hard to find, unless you buy Pache.

I bought Ryan, Hornsby and Gagne. No need to blow 80K and not get who you want. Ryan throws a 102 FB and a 100 sinker. Big upgrade from the 92 Astros version. Might have to use my 89 CAP at C now and use Biggio off the bench. Hornsby is the real deal and you would know if you played last years game.

I have Mantle/Trout done (and all fotf... I'm a completionist addict haha), I doubt he's better... Just gonna use him a bit and I'm expecting to flip for a profit once the pack is gone. Ryan looks fun tho, especially if you need pitching
You think Hornsby, and all the other cards available in the packs will go up in price once the packs are no longer available? I want to get Hornsby and maybe even a couple of the others but ive been saving stubs to finish for Trout. If they're going to sky rocket in price soon though maybe now is the time to buy them?

I think they go up , just like the Rare tier of dotp the 1st week. They will also plummet when an elite tier drops

Makes sense. I hate to spend the stubs since I'm saving to collect for Trout but I do want at least Hornsby. Loved his card from last year so maybe now is the time to buy. Sitting at about 90k right now and seems like he's going down slowly by the hour. When does the pack sale end?
