First time I'm not upset at having pulled two base rounds. Posada as a Yankee fan and Gagne are too good to pass up.

Hornsby is end game second base.
Roberts card is awesome. Similar to Eric Davis.
Nolan Ryan has a FB and sinker with outlier for both plus a six 12 curve and a circle change. His control and BB suck, but power pitcher wise.... wow

Packs are absolutely worth it. Got Hornsby and Posada.

Worst case scenario is Gagne, Posada or Lofton. All great.

Yeah, these are definitely worth it. I have a feeling that Gagne is gonna go up in price after these are out of the store. Gonna suck facing him. I have such a hard time with his Vulcan change.

I mean Gagne is great. Posada is a switch hitter. Lofton is glitchy. All good cards. Even if you don't wanna keep you will only loose 35k in total

They seem pretty fair in terms of expected value, so it comes down to what you want and your willingness to gamble.
I bought both and took the loss, though I actually got the two cards I wanted with Posada and Gagne. Had I pulled the rare i likely would have just sold and gotten those two anyway.

I normally don't buy packs like these but I have Mantle and I have lots of stubs and figured why not? First pack I got the best cards and took Hornsby because I loved him last season and then I got the base round and took Gagne. Very happy
