Atrin? Really?

First, congrats to Scuffy. Great guy. Def deserving of being a new Sony Partner.
But Atrin? Wasn't he banned in 18 for advertising stub selling websites? I can think of 10 other content creators more deserving. Seems like SDS made their choice based on who they knew from a few years ago rather than who is great now. I don't want to name names of the people who would be better picks but we all can think of some. Not saying you can't do wrong and redeem yourself but you should be at the back of the line behind people that have always been doing it the right way.

I'm trying to find the same thing.
I saw San Diego mentioned on some folks twitter (Atrin, Fuzzy...).
One can only assume. And others haven't made videos recently (Healy6) and others have been visiting Koogs46 (McGunski and Shelfy).
Unfortunately looks like KevinGohD has been left out of the loop again though. Shame.

Not announced. People have just been tweeting all at the same about going to San Diego. Can't be a coincidence. Even if it's not being a Sony Partner, it's still a specific privilege that specific content creators were invited to.

Dimmu isn't in San Diego so it's safe to assume he's out
Gunski hasn't denied being one and he's in the area so that's a possibility
Kevin probably doesn't even want it
Anyway Atrin's stuff personally isn't for me but Scuffy is a great dude with great content and I'm really happy for him.
Hopefully we get more partners announced soon

I wasn't even referring to content because that's debatable, just "how would like somebody to represent SDS/MLB The Show" as well as their stream in 19 where they acted like "anybody can 'earn' becoming a Sony Partner." Scuffy has been great for the community in many aspects, I don't know how anybody can say with a straight face that he doesn't deserve it. I just don't understand how they can choose Atrin over 10 guys I can think up off the top of my head. Even if they felt like people like Dimmu or Gunski or even Kevin are too "adult."
Quash has me blocked on Twitter so I can't speak to if he was invited back.

Sony Partners already talk [censored] on the game all the time. They all bitched about patches and other aspects of the game and none of them hold back on stream. May be they care about cursing, rage, and "adult content" (Gunski having a Ron Jeremy emote) but they def don't care about what they say about the game.
Quash had freeze out-gate, base run cheeses all the time and still got invited back to San Diego. Koogs violated TOS and got invited back to San Diego.
For SDS it's def just about YT subs and twitch followers (and possibly also about guys that they've had previous relationships with from old versions of The Show). Otherwise guys like Coop would be partner and current ones would not be. I bet you Emmdotfrisk would be a partner this year before TrueSmaugh or KyleNextDoor.
