MLB 20 New Legends (Updated after 03/07)
-
I did this last year, so I figured I'd do it again. Some people might not know a lot about the new legends coming into the game, so I wanted to make it easily accessible for them. It also allows for some fun speculation about what cards we could see in DD. I'll continue to update as new players are revealed.

Brian Roberts there is a guy I didn’t realize I wanted until I saw his name. That is a great pick.

It’s always like this. The more players the better, even if they only had one or two noteworthy seasons. The game would be pretty bland if we only got the biggest names and none of smaller guys.

To each his own but i disagree about number 9. John Olerud was great. Don't believe me just look at some of his numbers. Consistantly hit 300 or better. Look at his 1993 batting average. Not many can bat over 350 in a season.

I really like the fact that the pitching and hitting has been split evenly so far.

SDS just needs to find something else to change the name to. There’s always a guy or two that doesn’t realize that “legend” in this game literally has no other meaning other than “retired player” and throws a fuss about it lol

Agreed! The more the merrier. Mark Prior only had 1 good year and I hope he’s back next year.

Very nice to see Biggio announced. I was always a fan of the killer B's in the late 90s early 2000s.

Why is Shane Victorino a effen Legend?!

Why is Shane Victorino a effen Legend?!
Because he is a retired player that SDS acquired the rights to put in the game.

Because legend is the word SDS uses for any retired player put in the game, it doesn't mean "Greatest of all time", can't think of it in that context.

I feel like that Helton card might be sneaky good

Do you think they still have big names for the future ? Still a possibility to see a Big Unit ?
In past years, did they announce big names after end of march ?
-
Can anyone add the legends revealed today and yesterday?
