Moments/Player Program Help
-
I have grinded many of these out. Being an offline player, this is a large piece of my content. There are a few I seem to be stuck on and wondering if anyone has the same experience and can lend any tips:
1st - Blue Jays Stage 1 - Guerrero - 2HRs. I think it is labelled as Veteran. Guerrero only has like 76 power vs Lefties. It is facing Snell who seems to only feed me nonsense pitches and anything in the strike zone is in the bottom quartile.
1st inning Program - Granderson. Pretty much any of the multi-game moments. They are labelled as Rookie. I can mash rookie, but I cannot get anything going at all in these. One of them starts off against Otani and he doesnt give much to work with. Furthermore, they call for RBIs and 90% of the time it puts me up to bat with a desert on the bases.
Yasmandi Grandal - 2XBH. This guy is as slow as molasses. Worse-yet, a few times I hit balls off the wall and the slug defaulted into a homerun trot until the ball hit the wall. grrrrr

Vlad was the toughest Stage 1 for me as well. It just took retrying it 2 solid afternoons (and 80? 90? attempts) in order to power through it.
-
Be patient with Vlad, and try going with Power swing since the PCI is so big. I think I did it in two tries or so.
Same thing with Grandal. Try power swinging with the larger PCI.
-
Guerrero, power swing. It took some extra attempts, but it will get done.
Granderson, I'm surprised in this, as most everything he hits is homers. Normal swing and let 'er fly.
Grandal, power swing for the fences. Dont worry about legging out doubles.
-
Ahhhh power swings! Thanks! I never think to use that.
I agree that Granderson seems strange. I cruised through all the single game stuff. I have had this one sitting on my backlog forever and have completed player programs that seem much more difficult.

How did you complete the 3 BH with Correa without striking out? I can get 2 hits within the first two ABs; but after that the 'sun' s in my eyes and I cant see the ball UNTIL it is to late.

For me the hardest one on stage 1 is the 3 XBH with Seager. Power swing/ normal swing doesn't seem to matter, he either hits it right at a fielder or is to slow to make it to second.

I did the same with him as Olson. Swing slightly late for XBHs to LF. The outfield has such a big shift when they are up, I would take advantage of that LF line. At least that's how I did them back early in the year.

Thank you, i'll try that this evening, i've started in on the second set of TA's , i got Lodolo, Brujan and Graterol yesterday so i'm halfway through the prospects because i had 10 done already.

Vlad is a Nightmare. I put it on directional held the left stick up and to the left and waited for a fat pitch and hit the square botton.
