My team as it lays out now is how I think each positions best 1/2 player.

C : Weiters. I value the switch hitting, 80+ power vs both sides. His pci doesnt matter on AS and hasn't bothered me yet on HOF. 99 arm 95 blocking makes him a wall behind the plate.

1B: Musial overtakes Thames as the best 1B in the game, especially once prestiged because he gains silver defense at first.

2B. Cano/Prestige Biggio. I prioritize defense here so I run prestige Biggio in his natural position for the diamond shield. If you haven't completed his prestige Cano is the better option.

SS. Rollins: switch hitter with a quick swing, elite baserunning speed, defense and arm, I'm working on his prestige right now to see the difference but he's already got easy power with a butter swing. I've finished prestige Yount as well and i think hes a great option. Would really suggest diamond defense here.

3B. 96 Prestige Chipper to me is still the best option, prestige gives him Silver defense, which plays. I have Prestige Sheffield on my bench too as a second option but his shield stays bronze, hes an elite pinch hitter as well.

Current outfield is Collection Trout-Prestige Mantle-Prestige Walker

Walker will eventually be replaced by Griffey probably, Musial for Frank and 96 Chipper for Sig Chipper but for the most part my teams done.

    Rotation is
Maddux(more than halfway on his prestige)
    Prestige Orel
    Prestige Marishal
99 Feller (hes as disgusting as you think)
    97 Wood(like 40-50 innings and ~40k off prestige)

One thing I will note is prestige vs not prestiged changes the value on a lot of cards so it just depends if youre comitted to the specific grind.

Guys I forgot Mccay and Paxton, where would you guys put them?

I’ve pitched solid with McKay, but every pitch I throw feels like it’s going to get rocked. The 4 pitch mix feels flat considering 3 of the pitches are so generic.

I absolutely rake with Schmidt at 3rd. I know many don’t like his swing/stance but I luckily have zero problems with him. And the best defensive 3rd baseman by a mile.

I'm sticking with Schmidt to prestige solely on his defense. I'm hoping as I get more comfortable with him he'll come around for me but I haven't been able to get any consistency with him. Lots of grounders and when I get hits they're usually bouncers up the middle. I'm not really one that has trouble with one hitter or another, I can use anyone pretty much but he's giving me fits because A. he's my fave player ever and B. his defense is gross and if I could figure out how to hit with him 3rd base would be locked up forever.

Im 9 hits from his prestige and im losing my mind trying to finish it, I enjoyed using him in 18 I cant seem to get him down this year.

I don't know why SDS gave him 3B as a primary, (he played 179 more games at 1B than he did at 3B in his career) so does FOTF Harmon make your list at 1B?

I mean, Ernie Banks played more games at 1B than he did at SS but obviously he’s better known for playing short. It’s kinda the same thing with Harmon

I know you're not asking me in particular, but I faced him in ranked and couldn't get a read on him all game. It's a good card.

He has a good delivery and has good enough pitches to work with good per/9's. So it is an all around good card for pretty cheap

There are a bunch of budget beast on there. Just not all make the top 10. I'm adding how to obtain them currently. I could also add their market price eventually

thanks man. since this market exploded i have to be careful who i go after so looking for lower level guys that still play great. I dont need all 98 and 99s to have fun. The highest card i bought was 97 Cutch and through 20 games i have 0 hits. So depressing

    TLDR.

Just my opinion, but less info is better with something like this. Cost changes dramatically and was useless as soon as it was included. 10 players at each position is way too much.

Also, Schmidt destroys baseballs, protects lefties, and is a vacuum.

I'm just trying to give people a lot of options lol. I will update the cost every week
