Prestige xp path

So after cashing in my vouchers for mvp trout and collecting trout yesterday afternoon, my xp crossed from 87 diamond to prestige level 8. I decided to play a game on all star vs pc to get a couple daily program stars and noticed my xp meter in game wasn't moving. After the game it was back to level 3 prestige. I have played numerous games on all star (6 I believe) plus some showdown and I'm still on level 3. It says it should only be 12k xp to move up to 4 but its taking FOREVER even though I'm getting 5-7k per game. Whats going on?

That doesn't seem right, how did you get to prestige 8, I only moved up 5 prestige levels total doing Trout.

Prestige XP takes four times longer to level up than Original Recipe XP.

I guess it caught up and dropped me back to level 3

oh ok. I was curious since it was saying "12xxx" to get next level
