I haven't spent a dime, suck at the game and still have almost a full 99 squad. What reason is there to keep "working" the market, I get the fun in making coin from it as I had my fun in madden and it was needed as you progress through the year, I'm brand new, have most positions covered by guys I grew up admiring and am wondering what's coming up that would cause people to have insane amounts of stubs when those insane amounts of stubs aren't needed unless you're selling? just curious, im a noob.

Because I want the flexibility to get any player I want, for example if Jimmie Foxx is a BR reward again (doubtful, but possible), you bet I'm throwing down 800k to acquire him. Same for a 99 Pujols

I'm truly curious son, people on here bragging about "working the market" but why? what is to come that's gonna be so much better than now, are stats going to 150?

Personally I'm saving for the big names (Ruth/Gehrig/Seaver/Blyleven/Mays/Foxx ETC) because you never know how expensive they might be, plus at some point I want the BR Josh Donaldson and he's going to be near 500k until at least November. I like having every card by the time the game cycle ends. It's fun trying every card out.
Now for my question. Why do you care if people save their stubs?

Having stubs gives you the flexibility to buy, try, and sell new cards. I've used almost every card in the game. I keep who I like, I sell who I don't. With the amount of content this year, lineup diversity is limitless.
This post is the same as saying: "I don't know why people save money, what are you going to do with all that money?"
Pretty lame. But, you'll understand eventually.

I dont think I have seen many post, if any, of people bragging about working the market. Only time I read that is when people want to know others ways of making stubs without buying them, or how did they get collections done so fast or what not. I never see someone just make a brag post about it.
