I was super lucky on that
I had prospects done awhile ago when they were all around qs with the rare ones under 20k.
I did the HRD this weekend when they dropped the flash sales, so finished that cheap relative to what the cost is now
I would just finish it then. Trout will be in your outfield for a while especially if he gets prestiged
I wish I had gotten more prospects and did the players league done cause I would have those done. I think I have 5 of the collections done. I’m missing 2 of the postseasons

I have a pretty stacked OF too (Walker, Mantle and Sheffield) but I'm only seven future stars away so I figure I might as well just get trout now. Plus i'm at diamond lvl 91, so the xp I get from locking him in will finally get me to prestige.

HRD and Prospects would cost 850k+ right now and that is based on active sell orders.

I had to buy exactly 1 card when I got home from work to complete it. An Orel Hershiser Rookie card for ~4800.
So you can get Trout for ~4800 stubs.

0 stubs had everthing ready since early launch. At least a million plus now, the $$$$ for the legends are insane.
Have about 1000 bronze legends ....im selling for over $900 ......i bought all those for 65 stubs last market crash.

I got him, only set that cost a bit was prospects... But I sold back a lot of cards I got, so didn't spend too much extra... Good 3 hole hitter so far in rs

Surely there’s gonna be a ton of HRD, players league, and other types of packs in the future that’ll drop prices. Probably more flash sales.
If I really wanted him, which I don’t really care right now, I’m sure sds will give us plenty more opportunities to attain MVP angler status.

I bought the hdr this weekend and sold off today for a big profit.

I got it without paying more stubs because I already had enough of everything from playing the game all year

which it would be nice right now for the stubs and xp...That's what I'm thinking. It's a solid card, but not worth it right now unless you're almost there. I figure just by playing the game and picking up the odd card here or there I should have it done eventually.

it's hard to say because it was a lot cheaper if you were collecting cards all along. If you are trying to buy a bunch of cards now the prices are majorly inflated. Depends on what you need and what can be unlocked through other collections and whatnot. I honestly made stubs by unlocking trout.

I sold off ten awards cards for over 500k most bought under 10 k
I sold all the crazy inflated rate cards.
Sold all my prospects for near 400k
Sold a few primes and signatures for around 300k
And I still have 15 primes, 12/15 vouchers done. I will redo awards cards when they come back down to earth and do the topps now/ lock in my 15 prime at that time. Basically I got an extra mil+ I would have locked in getting trout day one

I already had tons of cards that I never sold and the last couple weeks I have been buying cards to fill up the collections and I had too many of every category. The prices pretty much tripled or quadrupled from what I paid for them so I unlocked trout and now have over a million subs. I also moved up four XP prestige path levels. Before I unlocked trout I had less than 100,000 stubs. So now I have trout and a million stubs it's insane. if you did the team affinities up until stage 3 you already have like three vouchers completed not to mention the Blake Snell one, and a couple others. I unlock trout in less than 10 minutes and if I would have been more patient selling my cards off I would have probably made another 200,000 stubs but I just took the cell now orders because I didn't realize the market would stay so inflated for so long but once I saw the stubs piling up I didn't even care I will never even use all these stubbs. At least now I could try a BR reward or something that I would never pay for in the past.

It’s looking so impossible to get this card ... I have 4 vouchers already and almost half the cards of most of the collections ... any ideas on a good route to take and what I may need ??

Did you already have the whole mlb/Mickey mantle collection done already ??? I’m level 86 prestige and I do own Mike Trout LS cars and Jimmy Rollins SS .... plus the 100k stubs I already have you make it seem like I have a chance but I don’t really know the most useful collections to do for the players I need
