Over the past few weeks I’ve been stockpiling all the cheaper LS diamond duplicates I have because they were all down near quick sell price. They are all inflated a bit right now. I have ~20 of them right now. Would you guys move them before this Collection drops or would you not expect them to fluctuate much? If it was 1-2 cards it wouldn’t matter much, but could be a difference of 50k+ if they go back to quick sell price.

Live series will not be part of the collection today, so I would think they do not rise in price at all. I would probably sell now.

That’s kind of how I’m leaning. This is also my first year playing DD so I didnt know if these cards could increase substantially if the players have big years( guys like Yelich, Acuña, etc.)

Honestly, I think we are so far into the "season" and the low diamonds have been cheap for so long...I'd wager most people have them all already.

I pulled 2 Judges in the last week or so...considered selling for like 6k but honestly the best use was to put them into a TA for points. Judge + 1 or 2 other cards is an easy 10 points into TA. Since I got Mantle already, no longer overly concerned about maximizing stubs.

Also you picked a fantastically odd year as your first year into DD. Even low diamonds don't usually bottom out so fast but due to the lack of a real season there has been no market speculation...no risk of diamonds falling to gold or golds going to diamonds until now so prices have been all over the place.

Guys like Cole/DeGrom/Verlander would have been expensive but not anywhere near what they were this year (100kish tops). Trouts card is the only one that acted "normal" so far this year. Guys like Stanton at 84 with the potential of going diamond after a hot start would have been like 12k on release day. Instead he sat at like 1-2k.

Yea Stanton had 2 hits and a HR opening day and his price jumped over 5k for a bit. I actually have 3 of those in my inventory as well as a ton of other Golds I’ve just held onto. I’ve been doing my exchanges with mostly silvers and bronzes.
