If you never played MLB 17 you’ll never know how amazing Jimmy Rollins card was! He was incredible

    That 17 J-Roll was a bad man!

Indeed!! He was my favorite card. Along with Shin Soo Choo (Reds), Grady Sizemore and Corey Hart.

I don't think I ever looked at a card and passed on it quicker than I did with Rollins. What a let down.

Lol Musial is the best. I get that Rollins isn’t great, the dude was a 264 career hitter, he should get a 95-97

In 07 he hit .296 with 30 HR, 20 triples, 41 stolen bases, 94 rbis, and won the mvp and gold glove. He was pretty good in his prime.

His sig card would be his best stats from his career. If it’s based on avg career. Stan the man would be hands down the best card in the game with no debate. And it’s not. Can’t argue with a 24 year career with a .331 career avg. who had pop.

Had no idea it was this low but then again we know SDS isn't into making cards and ratings like they should be.

Just now getting LS Trout and played with him tonight. 54 vision?m??? Get outta here SDS, he's a career .305 hitter!!!

Well he doesn't have the power, so I'd still take Rollins.

Everything wrong with The Show really right there in one short sentence.

    Im raking with Rollins

All event so it’s skewed, but 79 AB’s and 15 HR hitting .470. I think I found my SS for a good while.

Also the event pitch speeds are faster than all star.

I have Banks currently at short and he’s been a let down a bit. Worth flipping and getting J-Roll? The stats on paper don’t jump out to me, but I know that doesn’t tell the whole story.

Trout strikes out 120 plus times a year. Old time players hated striking out as there was an emphasis on that particular stat which doesn't get used today.

Vision is based off of him striking out. Trout does strike out a bunch so I would say that is fairly accurate. Vision doesn’t matter in this game however. But yeah, Rollins should get a 95-97 not a 99

I am 35 stars away I am not sure who I will take, I probably will take Maddux, I pitched well with his first card when the game released.

I'm absolutely tired of seeing slow dribblers going past my middle infielders, and while some of that seems to be BS programming, for that alone I view Rollins over Yount and Trammell (whose bat has been decent for me.) Switch hitter too so I'm going to pick him up, and the sooner the Prestige the better.

In a video game where Casey Mize is one of the best players, idk why you keep going on about Rollins. Hes not the problem. Dude is and MVP and gold glover

If Rollins card is indicative of his MVP year, then yes it should be a 99. Otherwise maybe not so much. But we all know SDS does whatever they want.

Exactly. Because Rollins MVP season card was already in the game, and it's only a 91 OVR.

Trout only has a 20% KRate which is average... His swinging strikes is elite though around 6% which is what Vision should be based on... Strikeouts are caused by a combination of discipline, approach, and swing and miss tendency.

I sold Banks the other day when it was selling high and picked up Rollins. No regrets at all. The switch hitting and speed is off the charts. He has plenty of pop too. Don't let the stats on this card fool you, it plays beyond the numbers. Can't wait to Prestige this one too.
