Rollins

He should be good. He will definitely be my starting shortstop once I get him in place of didi I played with his 91 when it came out and was hitting almost .300 online and I'm not that great of a player

Yeah I don’t go by the meta of that every card in my lineup has to have power. So I am looking at it differently. @Parksy3176
Me either, but if you can get it, then why not.

If you never played MLB 17 you’ll never know how amazing Jimmy Rollins card was! He was incredible
-
I don't think I ever looked at a card and passed on it quicker than I did with Rollins. What a let down.

Lol Musial is the best. I get that Rollins isn’t great, the dude was a 264 career hitter, he should get a 95-97

That 17 J-Roll was a bad man!

It was un-real how great he was!
He was so good I played him at 2B (no secondary) and he never made an error.
-
I mean guys like Mondesi, Vidal Brujan have less power but their swings give them power above their stats. J-Roll with 77 power then 80 prestige?! I’m going to have to move Yount to left field

I remember playing Beltran 99 overall from the ticket counter at 1st base lol. Oh when outfielders who didn’t have 1st base as a secondary position could play gold glove first base... those were the days...

It doesn't matter for this game what he SHOULD have. What he has is fantastic, plus a balanced switch hitter.

The card isn't the least bit appealing since cap is an option. Rollins could be my cap's baby brother.
-
Idk this year I didn’t want to use a cap, I’d rather use real players but that’s just me. Last time I used a cap it was MLB 18 he was amazing...wait maybe I should’ve made a cap...it’s getting late I’m going to bed lol.

I mean, that’s one way to look at it. The way I see it, I compare Rollins to my 2B or my C, as you can have a CAP at any position. A lot of people have Biggio at C and CAP at SS. They now have the option of making a catcher CAP and using Rollins at SS. And this goes for any other player or position as well, not just Rollins and SS.
Edit: I singled out 2B and C since those two positions along with SS seem to be the most popular among CAPs

Rollins had 3 HR in 11 AB's for me in RS today, including a rage quit inducing grand slam.
He's just as glitchy as he was in 17, the swing is every bit as quick, and exit velocity on average contact is still above expectations.
Obviously he is top tier with speed and defense, but now I'm able to see that his swing is what we all hoped it would be. Don't sleep on him.

In 07 he hit .296 with 30 HR, 20 triples, 41 stolen bases, 94 rbis, and won the mvp and gold glove. He was pretty good in his prime.

But this is a sig card based off of his whole career

His sig card would be his best stats from his career. If it’s based on avg career. Stan the man would be hands down the best card in the game with no debate. And it’s not. Can’t argue with a 24 year career with a .331 career avg. who had pop.

Had no idea it was this low but then again we know SDS isn't into making cards and ratings like they should be.
Just now getting LS Trout and played with him tonight. 54 vision?m??? Get outta here SDS, he's a career .305 hitter!!!
