The way he's come into this abbreviated spring training I can't blame the Dodgers at all for this. He looks motivated and ready for a great season despite it being only 60 games. Imagine having a 1/2/3 of Betts, Muncy and Bellinger followed by take your pick of Seager/Pederson/Pollock and Turner if he stays long term.

I hope he stays, hopefully the dodgers can win the WS on this shorten season, this is a year where if a team gets hot that no one expects to be good can win it all because the season is only 60 games. It will be very difficult for a team to start out slow and win the WS.

He's really impressed me the way he showed up with such a positive attitude and immediately became a team leader. He's also led by example, working so hard in spring training and summer camp. I'm not trying to knock Machado or Harper, but I think Mookie's gonna earn that $ more than most players would.

You guys will be very good...I can’t believe my Sox will pay Eovaldi 17 million a year for 4 years, Price for 30 million a year. But they won’t pay the guy who is the 2nd best player in the league what he wants!

yeah that is crazy, they should have paid Betts. Eovaldi had some good years with you guys but he not worth 17 a year.Dodger had no choice had to take Price to get Betts. The dodger originally drafted Price out of HS, But he did not sign.

The dodgers have been very prudent waiting for the time to spend all their money. I hope they got the right one. Now, can they pay bellinger in a couple years or should they just go all in now?

Still a long time.... Kemp and Ethier come to mind as well... We shall see, Go Blue!

We can all agree that we would rather have Betts over Harper, right? Don’t get me wrong. I love Bryce harper. I think he had a solid year last year and he deserves to get paid. I like what the Phillies have done/are doing. But, he’s not mookie.

This is true! Dodgers are getting Mookie a solid 4 years before the Angels got Albert. There’s NO WAY I would sign him to a 12 year deal!! But it will be very cool to have the second best player in baseball during his prime!! I agree with the previous gentleman.....I can’t believe they agreed to pay Eovaldi and Price and won’t buck up for #2!!!

Couldn’t agree more!!! I happen to think Harper is over rated based on what he’s getting paid. NO WAY would I pay him that kind of money. Trout and Betts are light years better than Harper. Harper has had 1 really good year. That’s it!

The last two years he hit 34 and 35 respectively. That doesn’t impress me when you only hit .249 and .260. Now......the year he hit 42, that was awesome cuz he also hit .330.
