I tried some of the Gossage moments last night and could not even hit a HR with Babe Ruth, I hit a few foul down the line and to the fence in Center. The Green mission just hit singles. I am hitting just not what is needed to complete the missions

This is how moments taught me to hit: keep the bat as close to center as possible.
Force the pitchers to throw into middle-middle and ignoramus's everything else.
Yes, you will take some close strikes, but your overall success rate will go up.

I try that Babe Ruth 3 HR moment just to kill 40 minutes each night. Get maybe 1 HR. on avg and 30 warning track shots -

Try changing your approach like I did; it made the Green moment possible.

I got the Yelich one the other day and.......yelled!
I jumped up and down as well. Opposite field HR to the cheap seats in the final at bat.
I couldn't believe it.
On the Legend one, i scored 4 in the first on a Griffey oppo Grand Slam HR that hit the foul pole. That one is doable, but it will take many tries. I only got one hit in the inning, though! Drew 3 BB from Gibson! He's a bit wild. Patience is the key.
The CPU did some cheap ish by having one of my fielders throw a ball away and the 3rd run scored on that error from 2nd base to crush my hopes, this try. -

I was trying the Green, Ruth, and Yelich ones with Directional, but i think the game 'knows' you're trying with that, so it may have been nerfed for the challenges. I may be wrong, just a thought.

Finally got Edmonds. I’ll chip away at Miller cuz I’m from Stl. Absolutely ZERO interest in the Goose!

Anybody have any tips for the all contact hitters moment? I don’t have any issues scoring runs or not giving up a home run, but I can’t for the life of me hit a home run with any of these guys.
Only have that one and the final legend one left.

I did a bunch. These get tedious. The homerun ones aren’t bad it’s the full game ones that are annoying. Because it’s like”don’t give up a homerun” and then 7 innings in you do and you have to start over...the ones that are quick fail are easy you miss you try over and so on.

Well....would be a lil easier if it wasn't for the fact that in moments they didn't turn our hitting ability down
. (Oh and the fact that it's next to impossible to get hits ...when the ball is rarely thrown even close to he strike zone
️️)We call the sliders...they are definitely cranked down and idgaf what anyone says..that does NOT make for good game play. Already difficult enough for the vast majority with the pitch speed and smaller pci 
️. So. Something to definitely NOT do in 20

I leave it in the center and yes I swing out of the zone at times but when I don't my timing just hits up the middle or in the gaps, I try place PCI base on the players swing path. On another note I finally figured out how to hit with Bench lately.
