I feel like the odds for Clemens is low due to him taking steroids. SDS doesn't give older players cards if they took them.
Matt Williams, Jason Giambi, Benito Santiago, Gary Sheffield, and Eric Gagne were all on the Mitchel report and while that doesn't prove they took them steroids (some have admitted to doing so) it does make them suspicious. David Oritiz also tested positive. There are also other legends I suspect but without good info to back up my suspicions.
So Clemens is out not because of steroid rumors but likely due to financial reasons.

I'm for all these guys getting in the Hall of Fame. I'm bringing up the Bagwell fact to show that there are already PED users in the game. It's my hope that they get everyone of those players into the game.

I loved Lincecum so much dude. I always drafted him in my 08 the show franchises and he would dominate, and I remember when he was on the cover of 2k9. Those were fun times.

Isnt that the stuff Mark McGwire had in his locker right behind him while doing post game interviews? Also the "leaded" coffee,(amphetamines) in the 70's and 80's lol. PED's go as far back as we can dig up.

Yes, it was what Mark put in his locker and so the reporters would notice it. He literally planned it out so the reporters would just assume that's what he was taking, so they would excuse Mark for being super buff. However, McGwire did do other steroids that were illegal, so that's where he went wrong.

why not ask for both? They both deserve high overall cards as they both at one point were the best pitchers in the league. And you need 5 starters in your rotation, so they can take up two spots.
