Interested in him as he basically has the same stats as Banks but half the cost. Has anybody tried him? I know some don’t like his swing but he hit well for me last year

Banks is worlds better. I don't think anyone else compares to him at SS. We'll see when Rollins arrives tho.

banks is dog poopie. Cal has been very good for me. i dont know what these fools be smoking. puff puff pass already. geesh.

so, to be serious. i love cal. i hate banks. most people struggle with their swings, the question is, which one do you struggle least with?

if you want a real good SS, get Jazz or Gimenez. both of these are lights out defensive and awesome hitters. Jazz is a poor mans monthly awards Didi.

When my opponent has Cal they do serious damage with him. On the other hand in years past with Cal & Banks I just seem to hit singles & never get the home run power out of both of them. I only stuck with Ripken for a bit in years past because of the diamond defense and arm at shortstop

I for one love Ripken last year he was in my line up the whole year I absolutely raked with him. However his HRD card is vastly different in terms of swing it definitely feels slower than last years SS card. And I feel we will see a better Ripken in the future with the Diamond defense and good hitting stats
