Hitting the fastball?

How are people tracking the fastball? I feel like I'm always late if I keep my pci close to the center .. then too early if I'm sitting on it high.

It is hard to get around on one unless u just make up in mind your sitting fastball and under no circumstance will be late on one. Which obviously opens u up to be toast on off speed

You have to watch it out of the hand. If it moves straight, it's a fastball. If it goes slightly up out of the hand, it's an offspeed pitch.
Once you start to recognize the difference, you will pick it up quicker. I'm no great shakes, but I've been playing league games on hof and legend and if you can start picking that up out of the hand, it's just simply a matter of pulling the trigger quicker on the fastball, and I mean almost instantly.
The only exception to this is the sinker, hence why it is so overpowering in this game. It has a slight movement up as it comes out of the hand. They need to fix that because it really tricks your mind and eye.

Sit on the sinker and you'll be early on every fastball.
