I don't have any issue with it at all.. feels more smooth than some pitchers... as far as how effective he is... I have had mostly success with him and would advocate for using him.. Its Juan Marichal's motion that I didn't like or have success with

I like him, but won’t claim he’s good. It’s nice to have more control over pitch locAtion, but he won’t be effective against opponents who lay off the curve / change up. If they chase, then he’s amazing.

I tried him for one game. His motion distracted me...we got rocked. Immediately sold him back

He's just ok IMO. His curveball has a lot of vertical break but it seems easy to recognize.

I've loved him in past years, i was excited for this card... He's been a mixed bag for me in RS. He doesn't get crushed but he's not lights out.
I can keep guys off balance with him but when at 2 strikes it's difficult to put them away. He's got a monster CB but guys just constantly nick balls and stay alive. His FB is good but hard to overpower with it and his slider is solid at keep of balance but not put away quality.
I like him better than prestige Oswalt but less than prestige Feller if that helps.
I'd rate him a 7.5 out of 10.

I haven’t used him yet, but was pleasantly surprised by Catfish Hunter - who I literally decided to try just because I earned him and why not...now he’s in my rotation and close to prestige. I feel like they are similar: suspect pitch selection, but decent per 9s with an emphasis on accuracy.
I feel like in this game the biggest pitching issue is accuracy - will the ball actually go where you want it to. Obviously you still want good per 9s and pitch selection...but Catfish made me realize the value of a pitcher with accuracy.
Now I really want to try Palmer too.

My review is he's trash.

Hated the card he had last year to the point where I have no intention of using it for even an inning. It's an immediate sell from my TA collection when I get the O's done.

Hater. You’re just still mad about those Money Store commercials from back in the day.

He's an upgrade from Means for the Orioles; very happy about it!
