I think I would have to side with CH... on this one. If you make any kind of bet you should have that money in hand ready to hand over right at the outcome of the bet, win or lose. It should never take 14 months to pay off a bet, and the winner of the bet should NEVER have to even attempt to collect.
If you want to be a man and make bets, be a man and live up to those bets. The fact that it is only for $100 makes it even worse.

Once again. I had no vested interest. I'm fact, CH and I didn't get along years ago over base running play style etc. After having some long adult conversations, we became two people that share an affinity for really disliking people that lie.
I discouraged CH from even talking to this clown over this, but some dudes just don't know when to stay down. It ain't about the money. It's about the effort going into playing with someone that tries repeatedly to change the conditions. Complete waste of time all around here from both parties. They should block each other and stop trying to one up each other.

If you are really in law school I am terrified for the future of our justice system... How can you breach a contract when there is no contract? I doubt a bet of $100 would come along with a contract. Even if it did, it would be nullified by the fact that gambling outside of a Casino, Sportsbook etc. is considered Illegal.

There is a contract you fool. Maybe you should go to law school and learn contract law. We both agreed to terms that’s called offer and acceptance with mutual assent. When he backed out of the agreement that’s called a breach. You only need a signature in real estate contracts.

Pretty much agree with all of what you said Adam. Is it childish and stupid? Without question. That said, I'm gonna enjoy beating him and I look upon this as a public service I'm performing. Maybe I'm acting immaturely but I really feel like I'll enjoy putting his inexplicable arrogance and stupidity in check. I'm weak

You're correct except the drama part. He's just gotten under my skin which is actually quite hard to do. I'm about as mellow as they come. However, I have a problem when someone constantly insults me from a position they somehow see as correct when it's actually coming from an impossibly absurd point of view. His head is so warped it's nearly impossible to describe. Sorry you are so against this as I like you Adam. But we don't have to agree on everything.

You aren't actually right here. More than just real estate contracts require a signature, any agreement over $500 must be in writing because of the Statute of Frauds. But again like someone else told you, you cannot have a valid contract on illegal activity. Just like a contract to buy a bunch of dope from you wouldn't be valid even if it is in writing because it is in the furtherance of a crime. (Coming from a lawyer)
