Are you kidding me with the lag right now?

I've tried two games this morning and both games were so laggy that it was unplayable. And when I say lag, I mean I would press the "x" button to swing and I could actually see my hitter doing nothing before he actually swung. That's how much delay there was.
I tried messaging both guys to explain and get a friendly quit but both mysteriously weren't accepting messages.
I'm playing on the same internet I always do and I did a connection test and it's as strong/fast as it always is
Is it every game, or perhaps just in specific stadiums?
It sounds silly, but are you playing with your controller plugged in or wireless? The two games were in two different stadiums (both minor league) and the controller was NOT plugged in. However, I never play with the controller plugged in and obviously this extreme lag has never been an issue before. I can try it with the controller plugged in later when I have some more time but my hopes aren't high haha

It sounds silly, but are you playing with your controller plugged in or wireless? This has happened more often since the update but I've always had my controller wireless and charge it overnight
So I'm not the only one this is happening to?

I had a disconnect from a game last night and took the L, first time it's happened to me all year.
Games today have been fine for me, but I've been the home team. I can't speak for my opponents, maybe it was a miserable experience for them, hope not.

Nope, me too, and I'm seeing ALOT of people all over seeing this. Most if not every away game I play has been especially bad the last couple days.

Typically no, but it's something to check if it feels like there is an input delay.

I'm in the first freeze off I've had in like 3 years right now... what's going on here today guys?

It sounds silly, but are you playing with your controller plugged in or wireless?Which are you saying is better, plugged in or not? I saw a study that showed the DualShock had better input lag through Bluetooth. Is that true?
-
Anything not relying on any wireless technology is going to be faster/better

I play wirelessly myself, but if I feel like something isn't right my first step in troubleshooting is to plug it in.

Did you recently change any settings on your tv?

Thanks. Would you mind commenting on what your internet speed is and if you experience any differences in pitch speeds from game to game?

Just tried again (1:45 PST on SoCal) and it's a little better but still very noticeable. Controller was plugged in.
What in the world is going on here guys???

I had that happen in the first Prime event (I was away at Coors Field with controller plugged in). It was really odd. I quit after that game and the next day it was normal again.

I've been experiencing inconsistent input lag for about a week. Re-installed the game, new controller and reconfigured PS and TV settings. Still having issues. Also, does anyone know if changes were made to timing windows and pitch speeds? Thanks, good luck
