I can't play an online game without being disconnected after one or two innings I have open the ports called my cable company. And they told me it's not on there and I'm hard-wired

Same, I don't know what else I could do on my end to fix it

Now im getting this issue

If you have Spectrum and got sent a new Modem and Router this is how I fixed it. I fixed it by getting my own router. I got a Netgear Dual Band. The dual band means you can use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. The new Spectrum was forcing it to use 5Ghz. I think this is what did it. Or it might have been something else but it works now. You might be able to use any stand alone router but the one I got was Netgear AC1750 WiFi Router. It was about $130 which sucks but like I said... it worked.
I can’t promise it will work for you but just wanted to share this!

I’m having the same issue and I have spectrum... I had spectrum before when they had the router that allowed you to choose between 2.4ghz and 5ghz and had no issues because I would use the 2.4. Called the tech guy and he said now they make it where it connects to the best one no matter what which is dumb because I’m almost positive it’s causing the issue... He told me I could order a router that would give me the 2.4 and 5.0 ghz option back... Ordering a router and an Ethernet cable. See how it helps
How did it go?

For the first time in 5 years, I am now also having this issue.

It’s amazing to me that this post is at the top of the forum and it was originally posted March 19th. Let’s hope sds sees this and does something about it.

In my experience this is likely a router issue. If your router does any type of automated rebalancing, which I came to find out the router provided by my cable company did, it'll kick you from DD, but your internet doesn't disconnect long enough to get bumped from ps plus. The best way to fix this is to hard wire. The second best way to fix this is to force your internet provider to send a tech out to test speeds and demand their latest router. If it's configured wrong or if there's any communication issue between router and modem then this issue will continue
I believe this to be true. I have xfi from xfinity and it jumps to whatever signal is best at that particular moment. Either 2.4 or 5 ghz. I bought a wifi extender where you can predetermine what signal strength you want to use for a particular device. Now I force it to use 5ghz. Maybe this will help someone...

I just had my third tech out from my internet provider. The show is only game on ps4 that disconnects from network religiously. I've played this game for years and no issues. When with this be fixed or patched? Ive read a ton of issues but don't see any resolved. I've contacted SDS, Playstation and ISP. Nobody can fix. Tried hard wire and same issue.
-
Disconnect 3 times again today
-
I connected my PS4 to a hardwire ethernet connection rather than Wifi and the problem seems to have stopped.
-
Such a terrible game this year due to this network error issue. Contacted every source to get it fixed and has yet to be fixed. Hard wired connection and everything yet the only game I have an issue is the show
-
Was playing 29 ranked guy in world tied 2-2 in fifth great game and got DC signed back into lobby immediately of course then kept getting dc there
Switched to hard wired 3 games so far no connection dropped. Only way I can lose lately is a DC more worried bout internet gods then losing to someone in an actual game
-
I actually did get DC once since the hardwire switch, so it's not the ultimate fix, but it happens far less. I think PS4 has wireless issues and staying connected with certain games. Same thing with the new COD game but that I haven't been disconnected at all since the switch.
-
Yeah it’s odd on WiFi bc let’s u reconnect immediately and phone WiFi dosent go out
Ppl say hardwire is way to go so let’s see
Thinking back to ps3 days had to use a Ethernet cord and hard wire and playing online was free and had less DC then when paying an extra $120 for PlayStation and PS plus a year with a PS4
Hopefully this fixes it

Just purchased a NETGEAR router that was recommended by another person in this forum to try to fix this issue. NOTHING. I received another network error in my first ranked game on using the new connection. I have done everything to try to fix this issue. I guess I can’t play my favorite video game anymore unless I can try something else. Good bye the show, thanks for nothing.

Just got network error in the 8th inning of a RS game while leading 1-0. Corey Kluber's 12 Ks mean nothing now and neither does the 1 hit shutout. This is a far too frequent occurance.
