Sounds crazy, but Vidal Brujan has outplayed every single SS I’ve tried out this year. Glitchy swing that can put the ball outta the yard, gets to every groundball, and steals bags easily. Been my leadoff since he dropped, and a huge part of my WS run!

Had the same problem. Yount has been great for me so far in a few games. He's got a solid quick swing with great defense to boot.

I still think POTM Mondesi is a solid choice.

Also, I tested the Larkin waters last time I hit level 100. Not too disappointed, but I like more arm strength at short.

I have more HR with Yount than Mantle in about 1/3 the games. RS games. Crazy pop, would recommend! Diamond D too

I’m having a tough time with Ripken so far...haven’t played much with him but 0-5 in two games. Not a huge sample but hopefully he comes around. I still believe!

I like having good D at SS and there is nobody in Ozzie's category when it comes to defense. He's also very good at getting his share of base hits, hitting about .300 for me and has been my starting SS for a while. Also can steal bags for you with his good speed. Of course he doesn't have much power at all so that's why a lot of people don't use him.

I suck at hitting, but Ozzie Smith is hitting over ,300 for me. Once i went to contact swing only with him he has been hitting bloop after bloop. Great defense and nice speed. Plus that back flip he does is legendary.

Has anyone used both Ozzie and Yount? I've been playing with Ozzie because, like a couple others have said, I love the defense. I feel I need a little right-handed power, though, and he may be the odd man out... wondering how much of a step down Yount's defense would be.
