Best Catcher?

Best catcher! It's so easy !! MATT WIETERS!! BY A mile
-
Gary Sanchez just obliterates the ball. It doesn’t feel right having an 87 overall card starting above my Posey or Sandoval, but I swear Sanchez hits a homerun every game.
-
My little 5'5" cap is better than any other catcher in the game.
-
Posey rakes against lefties.. And his d is elite.. A lot of people love weiters, or biggio if you have him
-
Gary is too good for me to consider using anyone else.
-
I’ve been using Biggio and Torre. Neither hit for much power for me but they are good to get on base
-
Offensively its FotF Santana, but hes awful defensively.
-
With revamped catcher blocking this year, I value blocking/fielding/arm more than offensive production at the position.
Posey or Wieters are my moves.
-
Biggio or Wieters.
-
Sandoval or your cap are the best options.

I think you overrate that rating way too much. I don't see much of a difference with Kyle Schwarber catching in BR vs any diamond catchers.

That hasn't been my experience. I've noticed a huge discrepancy between not only the frequency, but also the severity of passed balls between different catchers of different block ratings.

It depends on how often you throw in the dirt. Gomesdalegend did a test and while there are diminishing returns at a certain point, blocking stat IS important and determines whether they keep the ball in front of them or not.

Who do you think is the best catcher in game?
I just stopped using my cap. I felt like something was weird with his swing. I raked with Ketel Marte live series so I used Martes swing for cap along with his height and weight. Didn’t have as near good production even with a lot better stats than Marte,
So...
I have Posey, but I have been hearing a lot of good things on Wieters. Also I’ve heard Sandoval rakes. Is it worth the lack of defense to put him behind the dish?
87 Joey Bart and there isn’t anyone else that should be discussed

I’ve tried them all. No one could hit above .260 for me (Biggio) so I finally found Jason Kendall. Not great defensively but great hitter
-
Weiters looks like it on paper given good hitting and diamond field. Love Biggio back there. Speed threat, gold d and solid arm, and hits well
