ERA's and Epic Comebacks Moonshot Event Style
-
Two questions:
1.) What is considered a decent ERA for this event? Is everyone else getting completely shelled by their opponents? I realize the point of the event but trying to get an idea of what is "normal".
2.) Would love to hear any summaries of comebacks you have been a part of. No lead is safe in this event! I didn't actually win this game but I was down by 11 going into the bottom of the 3rd and I made the 3rd out with the tying run on base! Even though I didn't win it was fun making it close.

Most of my guys are in the 4-6 ERA range. Some way higher, but I pull them when that happens. A couple way lower (Osich, cimber, Wade Davis). Some of these commons are gems.
I was down by 8 in the 2nd last week in moonshot 2, and rallied (or was gifted) 11 runs in before he gave up. Lol. Felt pretty bad for the guy.
Also had a few 15-14 games that felt like they'd never end. This event is a grind. -
I just hit X when pitching. ERA is irrelevant.
I'm here for my stats and yours for prestige players.

I don’t think I’ve checked any of the ERAs I’ve had with pitchers in this event lol I fully expect to give up 5-7 runs a game regardless.

I hit a two run shot walk off, I have blown at least 2 leads in the last inning with 2 outs. This is a fun event. Not sure of my era with pitchers some really bad some are actually ok.

I've found with Cimber there is not much middle ground. Guys either crush him or can't touch him at all. I still use him cause he's fun to pitch with l.

My last 5 games are so felt a lot different than the first 5-10 I played earlier. Hitting feels like you’re swinging a pool noodle

Just won a game 10-9. I went into the bottom of the third down 9-0 to this Prestige Level 11 player. Tied it up 9-9 and went to extras. Shut him down in the top of the 4th. Led off with a Trammel Triple, then grounded to second for first out. My bench was empty to I pinch hit RP Jesse Hahn for my current pitcher (R vs. L) and he hit a deep fly to center for a sac fly rbi and walkoff! I imagine this guy was pissed.

Guy has name along the lines of 1-5 hit and I quit. So, I grooved fastballs 1-5. Now, I should have known something was up. 1-5 were not all prestige and didn’t seem to go toward and program and (here’s the big one) the guy had a handle that ended in 69. But, oh well, I was just hoping I’d get a quick win.
Well...he didn’t quit. I stepped off a couple times and slow played the rest of the inning. Figured if he’s going to get the win I’m not going to quit.
In the bottom of the first I scored 5 runs to make it 5-5. Then he scored in the top 2 to make it 6-5. In the end, I walked it off in the bottom of the 3rd.
I know that I shouldn’t have put myself in the position. But, it did make me feel better that the guy didn’t get the cheap win.
Moral of the story...of you think somethings fishy. It probably is.

I feel like moonshot has 2 sides. Either it's a 11-10 game or a 3-2 game. I feel like some games lately are nerfed on hitting.
