Is 99 Robinson worth the time?

Packs alone that program is worth it to finish. Personally i hit well with jakie so he starts at 2nd for me over biggio. His speed is good for tracking down balls in shallow outfield. Worst case hes a good pinch runner with a few different secondary positions for versatility
Second this. I added it up and you get around 40 packs, 7 BIAH packs, 2 headliners, 20k stubs, and about 10k experience. The card itself is really good, but the rewards make it so worth it.

I only need 5 more points to finish but probably won’t unless we need that card for something. I only wanted the rewards along the way.

Why the heck not finish if you've come this far!

Once you get past the 88 Card, its all pretty easy......and I did them before they made the early moments even easier....yes it is 100% worth it, and the equipment for your CAP is great as well, if you use a CAP

Is that Jackie program as big of a grind as I think it is? I haven't even started it aside from maybe getting 5-10 points accidentally and I'm not hurting at 2B but I'd like to do it if it's not incredibly long and frustrating.

Its 100% a huge grind but I didnt do it as my primary grind at any point, its daunting to try to attack it all in a night or 2.
The conquest stats i found the most tedious but i just reset the usa map and simmed a couple rounds till i had 15 or so fans and would attack a rockies single square instead of stronghold so it was on rookie, had jackie lead off and quit out after his ab. Took about 40 abs and 3 map resets but it went fairly quickly considering.
The rest of the mission stats just kind of happened thru playing because i have bellinger in my lineup so i got Dodger stats from him and left field stats from trammel.
Took about a week for me to finish off without pressing to finish but it was 100% worth the time. -
100% worth it. Gold fielding at all available positions and easily the best lead off hitter in the game. Elite speed, elite contact, surprising pop. He's a great table setter and failing that, probably the best option for a bench bat/speed.
Aside from that, the other rewards in the program are worth it

Haven’t had any use for the card yet.

it's long, and originally one of the early missions was hitting 2 HR at Forbes field (which I did) and I think they have actually changed it to be extra base hits now. You get a TON of XP and stubs from it as well, so it is very much worth the grind in my opinion.

I'm in the same spot just have to beat Dodgers on allstar. Been playing moonshot. I'm not good but i like it. Had 7 wins once.
-
Well worth it IMO. Packs,Stubs,XP, n diamond equipment for those that use created players.
-
This has to be a troll post!!! 99 player for a few hours of moment grinding. Let me think about that for a moment
-
I would try my best to get to stage 3/4 while the moonshot event is on (if it still is). The online missions (and offline) are super easy. Like XBHs with left fielders. Castallanos, JD Martinez, Stanton, and now the ones that were released with the HRD packs should make that easy.
-
Was well worth it for me, I’ve been knocking the cover off the ball with him..now I will at I had been grinding each stage as they released them so it wasn’t no time at all for me once the released the sig version..from start to finish all at once it probably is a chore but between the card and the packs it’s worth it..probably may even stick around as my endgame second basemen at this rate

Sandberg is better

I personally love the Jackie 99 card. It's not everyone's favorite, but it's fun and not too tough to get.
-
I enjoyed this card and all of the other goodies that came with the program. He may not be the best 2nd baseman in the game, but he's very close, and, given his versatility, is worthy of a bench spot on most teams.

I think it would be an upgrade over your current 2B situation, but in general it's worth it just for all the free packs and stubs.
I haven't done it yet because I've heard in the past hes been terrible. Plus he hasn't done anything but the occasional bunt for a hit against me. Then I saw there were 50 packs in the program rewards alone.

No, he’s good, and he was good last year as well. I’ve homered with him a few times and he does really well in the field. It’s just hard to say he’s worth playing over a switch hitting alomar / CAP
