Believe it or not, guys from 1940 can be pretty good too. They can even be in the HOF.
My beef is that Live Series cards are such [censored]. I get these guys are greats but as one of the best pitcher in Baseball these guys shouldn't be shafted because there "histories" haven't been able to mature over 60 years. You rarely ever run into anyone using DeGrom, Scherzer, Cole, or Verlander. These guys are great too and should be rewarded for it and I'm sure a lot of people want to use them but they are so bad in the game.

Live series weren’t really meant to be used in online play IMO. They’re strictly collection bait. There’s other options that are way better than them.

if there was a season then some of them probably would be usable because of attribute adjustments.

LS also typically have Inside Edge. If you're complaining they're not as useable as seasons past ... that's why.

I think after Griffey gets a better card he's out. With a potential outfield of Mantle, Griffey Jr, Walker. Trout then becomes a bench bat alongside Jackson.

My outfield is Reggie, Prestige Belli, and Trout. I don’t know is I want to move Reggie or Trout to the bench next. That is why when I get to 300 stars (225 currently) I will choose Papi or Mo, it depends how my team is in a week.

I think he’s already out, at least in my lineup he is. I’m using an OF of Walker/Mantle/Davis.

Yeah the community sentiment months ago was that LS Cole sucks, I never even bothered trying with him. Totally just for the collections. If you're not bothering with those you can literally buy 3 of the new FOTF SP cards like Orel, Wood, and Leiter or Burnett.

I use deGrom all the time and he’s lights out for me.

Was not happy with that card back when I bought him early, but the collection was worth it. Pulled another Cole card last week though and sold for 170K before his price dropped so him and I are cool again.

Arenado still rakes for me. I still use Story at short too. Acuna is still usable. Yelich if you can put up with his defense. Lindor is solid.
LS position players are definitely still usable. Pitchers? No. Are they god squad material? No. But definitely still very good players.
And a big reason why LS are still usable is because vision isn’t important this year.
