I forgot about Ward!!! I loved watching those Jays teams growing up.
I got to see them all the time growing up in Miami. The Marlins did not exisit back then, so a local station used to carry Yankees games.
That was a lethal back end for sure. -

I actually think that card looks nasty. The issue with forkballs usually are that they are too slow and easy to pick up on. A 92mph forkball is like a sinker with more break.

Better than the new Chapman and Rivera?
On par with Chapman, might be better with control... Possibly better than Rivera if not close due to better secondary pitches and higher velocity with better gaps.
He's 6'5" with a 4SFB, Forkball, and Slider... Massive downward plane with a rare Forkball??? YUP!
Unless his delivery is trash he's in the conversation for top RP.

Aside from the weirdness that they chose Tom Henke, I think we can all see that his card looks elite. Getting the Blue Jays done just shot up near the top of my priorities in this game.

Henke was an absolute beast in real life - you probably weren't even at the stadium watching him
this is a terrific TA card for the blue jays we've had the worst cards all year its refreshing to get the Henkster

Agree. Only really disappointed cause I was hoping for Delgado since I grew up watching him. Other than that, this Henke card looks great.

While Henke was that last possible Jay in my mind, the card looks good. He was super dominant in his time.

I used him just now and he is not bad at all. Nice high release makes him a bit deceptive.

yeah man OP here probably wasn't even born when Henke was playing
best jays card we have had in a long time this year has been brutallll (i know you know what i mean)
and by the way great idea on Delgado that would be sick
or a Roy Halliday

As much as Henke is a cool surprise, and his card looks legit, this all but guarantees no Delgado or Doc and that's a bummer

Agree this card looks nasty. One of the most expensive TA cards right now on the community market and for good reasons. Right up there with Mo and Dibble as best RHP bullpen arms
