O i did not know that. I still say it's Thome but that makes things interesting. I would love a Manny Ramirez card I just thought he was still playing in a leauge somewhere and SDS didn't have his rights.

I don't think Manny could be a 99. His defense just sucked so badly and he had zero value on the bases..
Frank Thomas was a 99 last year.

Having his a stance as a generic stance means very little. These are old stances from previous versions of the game and are generic because they don't have their rights.

I think you are all putting to much stock into the 99 thing. I think it literally means 99 overall. That being said I think its going to be Thome. We haven’t had a first baseman as an inning boss since the first inning

Thome definitely makes sense. I've also seen a lot of people guessing Big Papi, and if we are getting one 1B in the 5th inning I'd personally prefer him over Thome.
