There's a great chance it's Manny Ramirez. They seem to emphasize the 99 part, so maybe they're thinking of the jersey number 99 in addition to the overall. And as for the steroid issue, they have Piazza and Giambi in, so adding in Manny shouldn't be an issue

I don't think Manny could be a 99. His defense just sucked so badly and he had zero value on the bases..

You throw in the fact that they added his stance to the game and it seems like a good fit. Possibly too good though, maybe jut trying to throw us off?

You throw in the fact that they added his stance to the game and it seems like a good fit. Possibly too good though, maybe jut trying to throw us off?
I didn't realize his stance is in the game. I now think they would be fooling us if they didn't out him in now.
