He’s more than fine playing at 3B

Honestly Sheff is the best third baseman I've had there, dude grabs everything. Biggest thing is he can bare hand a dribbler 9 out of 10 times.

Well mine is broken then because anything with an exit velo above 85 and he boots the hell out of it.

Shef is waaaaaaayyyy better at third than in the outfield. Even with the secondary hit. I’ve had him since day 1 and he’s been great there

For me ... Yelich is better than both. It sucks not having success with either so far

Reggie is still a top 3 hitter in the game if you’re good with him, I know some people aren’t. I always wanted a Sheffield card and am beyond disappointed that I stink with it.

I have Sheffield starting over Reggie. I have not been good with Reggie, but may be getting his swing down thanks to this event. If Cutch stops raking for me, I may give Reggie another shot in the lineup.

Only had Sheff for two games but he did just fine in LF, have Reggie in RF and he seems to play well above his stats defensively. Seems like fielding was nerfd a bit this year

Take Sheffield to practice mode. Turn up your sliders for pitch speed and accuracy.
In practice mode make the batting settings legend.Face nolan Ryan and make the at bat repeatable and also make it a 3-0 count.
Practice for 1/2 each day and you'll hit better with him.

Sheffield at 3rd has been my move. I went from using Eddie there and the difference has been negligible. Sheff has an under rated arm too.

What about a Platoon w Shef n Reggie? Start Reggie, bring in Shef if there's a Lefty, Keep Chipper a 3rd?

This is for me personally but Sheffield is an absolute monster. I can’t use Reggie and his slow swing
