4th Inning Fathers Day Structure is so Wrong
-
I honestly hate this but would prefer it for every moment and making them harder also and by harder I don’t mean [censored] 15 triples with Yady Molina or something just putting the pitching at legend. This and actually making the low power contact cards a bit better and actually useable.
-
Just a couple of attempts with the Gwyyn's and I most likely will have to pass on these cards. Not worth the frustration.
-
And all the loading time.

My gripe is how it was laid out. I love the moments sometimes, especially when you can smoothly move through them. But at least the Bichettes, Gwynns, and Vlads were set up wrong. Why not give each the father and the son a full game to get the hits? Not one at-bat and then coming in in the forth and getting maybe three at-bats. That's if you're not hit by a pitch when you need one more hit in the ninth. Let me not get a hit rather than ending it for me rubbing my arm from getting hit as the game resets.

Clarify... since bo bichette sucks in the 8th u get an entire game with dad to get 2 xbh
i got 3 AB's with Bo in the first game....and didnt have to hit with Dante lol
-
I'm not big on bunting but just keep bunting with Gwynn Jr to the right side until you get a hit. Shouldn't take too many tries
-
It’s free content. Let’s complain
-
Should definitely be able to restart Gwynn if you don't get a hit with him rather the having g to leave and reset series
-
I’ll never understand why there are Moments with multiple games and you can’t just advance to the next game. It’s there in RTTS.
-
@Victor_SDS Really hope you will consider "fixing" this program to at least of each batter have a full game to get their required hits. If it were one game I get it, but having this setup like this in a multi game moment just makes these almost unplayable right now. At least if you give each hitter a full game, it would give players a fighting chance and make it much more fun.
-
unplayable? lmao

The Gwynn challenge is a quality of life abomination - had to be a mistake. (Get the hit with Tony, then dashboard with his kid until you get it).
Other than that, the format is a little goofy, but no big deal.
Dashboardimg doesn’t work. Got the hit with tony and then dashboarded before JR was called out and it kicked me back to tony.

I LOVED these.... they were different than the usually 3 hits/ 1 XBH, tally 3 hits, get on base 3 times or get 4 total bases or a combination of this. Those get old b/c its the same moment every time over and over so be thankful that they are coming out with different moments for us. Plus they were easy to do lol so I am not complaining. Quick xp and stubs. Thank you SDS for switching things up!

Whoever came up with that idea of the 4th Inning Fathers Day structure, should either be fired or never allowed to do it again. Did they even test this out? I mean test it for frustration and waiting for loading time. I mean they say to get a hit in a game but it is more of an at-bat. And Most times if you miss the first time you're resetting the challenge anyway. I understand the grind but the grind is waiting time for everything to load. More time is wasted in loading than playing. Please NEVER do this again. There has to be an easier way to get the challenges in and let us grind it out in a fun way.
I write this as I wait through the reloads and I play for 10 seconds and wait minutes in between re-loads, then I get back and the pitcher throws it to first four times before throwing a pitch. Or I have one at-bat and get hit by a pitch. Or there is never a pitch thrown over the plate to get an extra-base hit. And guess what I waiting again for everything to re-load. Sometimes the gameplay just needs to play for the mode, let us just have fun playing and not waiting.
Sorry but I'm curious what others think about this? And maybe SDS will read this. Fat chance that will happen.
Agree. This program was not thought out well. I have given up on it for now. That biggio and griffey card will never see my lineup anyway, and the ballin in a habit packs usually just bring me maybe a gold player.
-
Wasn't bad at all. Took me less than an hour to get two cool cards + a bunch of packs. Even pulled a diamond. The moments were pretty fun. Really liked the Biggio one. Made a bunch of stubs as well
