MTO was a way to earn Team Affinity stars. If I'm reading the trailer correctly, MTO (or whatever was in the trailer) is no longer "World Series win or Bust", but is now geared towards W/L record improvement.

20: ...Not so sure it'd be Rivera. They've never had a pitcher as the 'Collect All' reward, much less a reliever.
Ortiz would be the more likely 'Collect All' of the Legends displayed today. Though were money on the line, I'd go someone more well-rounded like Mantle, Clemente, or Aaron.

Yes, it does look that way. It looks like you start earning that team affinity during the process, rather than at the end, which I poorly articulated in my last post.

IMO, Ortiz and Rivera are not near the level of collection rewards as Vlad and Mays. Ortiz can't field and Rivera only throws 2 pitches (fastball and cutter). Yea they are fan favorites but they aren't as good as if they make the LS collection reward Honus next year.

If it is they better not put the best pitcher in the game in there again
- why not? And 2) Kershaw hasn’t been the best pitcher since they removed hr/9 and arguably even before that (Feller, Kluber, Christy, etc). Not that Kershaw isn’t really good, just that he isn’t all by himself anymore.
