Let's kill the Future Stars concept now.

Jo is a major W y’all trippen
His attributes may be, but attaching those attributes to that player is a huge L.

I mean I’m an angels fan and this guy rakes he’s got massive pop, but I do get you the juiced stats are crazy.

Well your an Angels fan that doesn’t understand that it’s a FAKE CARD

So many legends to chose from yet we have 70+ diamond cards that are prospects/futures stars.
The prospect cards made sense and the attributes reflected the players. The future stars are just behond comical at this point and I don't see it stopping anytime soon, we can expect every prospect card players to get a future stars card.
-
We need more fake Braves so they can really drive their point home....

Great idea, absolutely butchered in execution. I want minor league players just as much as the next guy, but 99 Jo Adell? 108/110 power? Dude has 35 Hrs in over 200 minor league games.
Seriously, [censored] these players. Give us Sosa, give us actual proven players capable of carrying a 99 OVR rating. In the past Future Stars were rookies who could/were showing promise.
Next thing you'll know we will be able to upgrade any player LS or not, then the game will be called Madden MLB edition.
Sosa! Sosa! Sosa! Sosa!

Sosa costs money. The current mlb players do not
There it is. This is correct.

As a diehard baseball/fantasy baseball fan I love to follow prospects. These cards are really cool to me and I don’t understand why people get so upset over cards they don’t have to use.
If we apply the “he’s not better than Mike Trout” logic then almost every card in the history of the game would be below Trout’s 95.
-
I know they are trying, but it’s ridiculous. The prospect cards were a great idea and, generally, had acceptable ratings. The future stars totally blew out reality.
I know some say don’t complain becuase it’s added content. It’s nice that SDS is trying, especially with no real baseball being played. But most of the cards this year have been a yawner for me. I don’t like the future stars. Many of the headliners haven’t been all that great. I mean, a prime Michael Brantley? No thanks. His prime, I guess, wasn’t even that great. And How do we know he’s not currently in his prime, which should be reflected on his LS?

Unfortunately, I expect many more: Franco, Lux, Robert, another Pearson and Kopech. Probably many more in the top 25. May and Sanchez weren't even top 20 guys.
We already have 2 of Lux how many are we going to get of him 3? 4? 5? Seriously I'm telling you guys if stage 3 is rookies again I may walk always for awhile.
-
I'm assuming most of the legend/flashback cards people want will be in TAs and inning bosses. These future stars, while ridiculous, are filling out content until stage 3 hits.

Except, these cards are better than Griffey jr, for whom they do have a license. I like the future star concept, but they should have stuck with the low-mid diamond prospect approach.
-
I agree. However there has been no Baseball season, so I’m sure they had to adjust on the fly and panicked a bit. No real players to properly adjust as season went on.
BUT... in no way should there be a prospect/future star fielder/batter better than Trout and not a pitcher better than deGromm!!!!!
-
It's the repeating players that irritates me. Don't do 90 Joe Adell and then another 99 version later. Should've saved the to Prospects for FS only.

Yeah you could make this argument too.

Minor leaguers' rights are cheaper and that's the name of the game

Not another Kopech, anything but that 🤮
Why not another Kopech? I'd love to get a high diamond version.

Creating fictional players from scratch is even cheaper. Why not just do that, if all anyone cares about is the attributes and animations?
