I will!
In MLB 2018, I took a RTTS player up to age 39. Once you hit your mid-30's, before the season you have an option to choose which one of your attributes will DECREASE. So, you will start to get worse. My stats didn't tank, but they faded a little. By the time I hit 39, I had just crossed the 800 HR mark, so I retired.

It’s after your age 34 season I’m pretty sure that’s when they force you to take a hit for only some of your stats. I have a shortstop that i carried over from last year in his age 43 season He’s now a 93 overall instead of a 99 but he’s still really good. Also you are forced to retired after your age 45 season. For every year I’ve played RTTS sine 2011 they always make you retire after the age 45 season...

[censored] 45?!?! I'm 32 now. Still got 13 seasons to break a lot of those records. Didn't think I'd get too Pete Rose.

Yeah, (insert Larry David voice) it’s...pretty....pretty....pretty....pretty good...
It kinda sucks Tho when your stats take a hit and you can’t be a 99, but I’m assuming you have all the best Diamond equipment, which in that case it really won’t affect you at all.
-
Yeah I'm stacked up on diamond equipment. I guess if I got to choose which stats to devalue I guess it will be defense.

Can I play into my 40's? Will they force me to retire?
I'll be 43 in a couple weeks...
Your thumbs will definitely tighten up and get sore faster, you may have to get off the couch more than you are now to stretch your legs and back, depending on your vision, you may have to adjust how close/far you are to the tv... But most importantly, you will HAVE TO keep a large empty gatorade bottle near by. Depending on your skills, you may need a pretty wide funnel as well.

Man, I cant stick with a RTTS player too long after making the show. If it's a hitter. I hate not pitching for long stretches and if it's a pitcher I hate not being a good hitter. So just feelslike an incomplete game to me playing RTTS, so i am impressed for those of you who have seen your players play that long.

I started playing this year at 41, but it's just a fun game for me... Not trying to make a living on it
