Easy fix. Use button accuracy so you never have a throwing error ever again.

I use button accuracy, and it still happens.
Guys with 30 speed are able to leg out routine grounders to short.

Playing the event tonight, Dietrich bobbled a routine grounder that would have been final out of the game. Next batter hits a slam on a pitch way up out of the zone and I lose. Just had to laugh. I knew it was coming.

Yep it's either a bobble or your D gets pulled off the base

At least it isn’t ranked. For me Didi bobbled one with 2 outs in the 3rd and Lofton reached, next thing you know he steals and then he hits a good okay on a pitch way inside 70 mph to fall for a hit...tied but I win in the 5th I think

When my healthy pitcher can't throw a strike except down the middle.

When your pitcher has been dead on with his pitches for four innings, then all of a sudden with full confidence everything starts drifting to the middle of the plate no matter what you do. It's either a ball a foot outside or a hanger

Yep that's the AI taking control so you HAVE to throw one down the middle for them to start their cheap comeback, but their exhausted pitchers will continue to dot the corners at will

Mine usually starts with my pitcher suddenly unable to throw strikes on any pitch that isn’t directly down the middle of the plate. That either forces a walk or a hit. Then pretty much everything else the OP said follows.

Usually its around 2 outs, even the weakest of hitters all of a sudden becomes Tony Gwynn and fouls off a million pitches before they either walk or get a hit, then a steal, then that cheap oppo bloop right inside the foul line. Could this AI be any more cheap. Especially when you are doing these ridiculous pitching missions.
I find it funny that the last game I'm about to get Belli on all star vs the Yanks I'm up 6-1, and like clockwork they start working in cheap hits until its 6-6 then we go to the 13th/14th innings where I eventually win. The RNG needs to be abolished along with this brain dead studio
This. I dont know how many times I failed a Moment, or lost a game, because even though I went the full inning requirement without giving up a run/hit/extra runs; once that player starts fouling off multiple pitches; one of them will connect for that hit/homerun/run and lose the game/Moment.

Yeah, for me it usually starts with a walk followed by an error.

And when you tee off on them for 5 runs in an inning, their confidence doesn't move. But you give up 3 hits in a row, your confidence drops.

Yep, even if you aim it right down the middle it will still go a foot outside. Aim it in the dirt down and away, straight down the middle it goes lol.
