Stop throwing horrible pitches during moments!

At one point Josh James threw me 17 straight balls. Wish I was joking or exaggerating.

I miss in 17 where you literally could not get walked on rookie/veteran. The cpu pounded the strike zone, as low rated cpu cards should on the easiest difficulties. That would be nice for moments.
That also led to the hardest mission/ moment of all time though: 4 H, 3 HR, 5 RBI, 4 runs, and a walk with Miguel Cabrera in MLB the topspin 17 on allstar

Zunino mission... need two hits, one home run.
I had four at bats and was walked 3 times. Twice it was on four pitches.
Yah yah, swing... how am I supposed to hit a home run on pitches in the dirt?
This same nonsense was there last year.
A mission where you've got to get a homer and only have 1 at bat for it, the CPU throws 4 straight balls, or just hits you on the first pitch.
The total bases mission with Chipper saw me at one point only need one more total base, and in my final 2 at bats I got walked on 4 straight pitches and got beaned.
We need the single game missions from 17 back. Some of them could be beyond annoying (Rookie Sandberg I'm looking in your direction), but at least you had more control over them, and earned stats with your team during them.
They don’t even need to add single game missions back, they just need to up the strike frequency slider for hitting moments. I’d say 65% of at bats in moments begin with 2-0 counts.
One reason is because there is a guy on 2nd base much of the time and the pitcher is pitching around you. MANY of the first at bats are like this and SDS does that on purpose for some reason.

Yes, this is ridiculous, I get more mistake pitches on RS games than I do in these [censored] moments on Veteran.

Y'all are wrong. What's the point of moments if you just want batting practice pitches down the middle. Do the extra little work they ask of you to get free diamond cards, geez louise people it really isn't that difficult
There's a balance. I'm not asking for meatballs down the middle, but being walked on four straight pitches twice in the same game is not balance. I've been hit by a pitches before too.

Yah Josh James really annoyed me, I mean his pitches weren't even close to the plate most of the time. Not to mention I would swing as soon as the ball left his hand and I would still be late hitting the ball. Very happy to have those moments done.

The amount of balls are insane , they force you to swing at pitches unhittable when you have 3 balls because a walk does nothing. This is the main reason I hate playing the cpu this year, it’s 3 balls for every strike, and the strike is a dot, regardless of difficulty
-
Another thing that annoys me is when you have a hitting mission, like 3 hits , and your robbed of a crucial at bat because they pick a runner of 1b when there is two outs. This happens an unrealistically and insultingly frequently

I think DJ LeMahieu has a quirk that says. Prone to hitting directly to fielders so they dont even need to take a step. Round 6 4 total bases and i cant get over 2 because im beaming balls at every fielder. Literally

This is my biggest complaint with the game this year vs cpu.
Of course Somebody will come along and say “it’s easy, git gud” but that completely misses the point.
