I don’t know what it is but the timing windows seem crazy off lately. With these last few moments (Omar, POTM and even the Eddie Mathews evolution that unlocks in the past couple weeks) I can’t time anything up properly. I am swing-through-it early on anything off speed. I am even early on fastballs sometimes. When I tell myself to wait back, everything is a foul ball to the right side. Hardly anything hit up the middle. My timing is way off. Anyone else dealing with this?

By the way, as an aside, if I get a monitor at I going to be way early on everything too?

I’m finding some worse than others. I wish they could find another way to vary the difficulty on challenges than to tweak sliders behind the scenes (or whatever is actually being done).

I’m trying to think of an equivalent of this in other games. What is wrong with having the game play consistently from mode to mode?

Showdown is a joke, the timing is messed and it's obviously so people can't stack vouchers for affinity packs and work towards a lot of affinity rewards. totally lame. They are messing so much up this year.

I finally passed a stage 1 showdown. Did the NL East and only needed 6 runs. Scored them easily.
But what's funny, I was only able to do it because I watched a hitting video, and in it there was a way to position your thumb that helped you control the PCI better. Whether this worked or not, I couldn't say either way, but it's odd that after so many failed efforts it worked.
If that's the case, it's a shame that to be able to beat a mode you have to do something as off the wall as thumb position on the controller.
