What new legend is good enough to be a 99 but not good enough to be announced pre-release for marketing purposes? I can’t really think of any at this point

Both of those guys would be revealed pre-release. My best guess would be a Mike Mussina/ Andy Pettite level pitcher would be this new one

With the 90-00s theme we seem to be getting, I could definitely see Larry Walker. Maybe Sammy Sosa, Ryan Howard, Jeff Kent?

Mo Rivera Bank it. It says new legend I don't think that means it's someone that hasn't been released yet. He is a new legend this year and should definitely get a 99 but maybe I am looking at this wrong

Nah. They don’t ever say “new legend” about a guy that already has a card in the current game or previous games. Its a brand-new guy
