How are Oswalt, Helton, or Snider?
The only way im getting one of them is either buying outright or Collecting the 7 Pre-Order Diamonds. Since I already have 2 of them from my Digital Deluxe order, I'll only need to acquire 5 if them. If I buy outright; I'm looking at about 25-30K.
That's cheaper than buying one of the bosses.But if I could use two of the three; I'd buy the other one of the market.
I'm thinking Snider is bench material at best and Helton will work at 1st until the release a better Ortiz.
But are either of them 30-40K good?

Oswald is pretty good imo... and those 1st inning guys all going for just 5k

Oswalt for sure. Just started up an RS game and threw him in there to get him closer to Prestige and I struck out the first 2 batters and my opponent rage quit. Lol

They are okay but I just sold Oswalt since at 93 he won't make my rotation anymore. The issue with the 7 Diamonds is that they have better cards anyway so sell them off and keep the 35k. It shouldn't be too long before 86-88 no longer make your squad or 93 for that matter.
With all the free content this year and the speed in which it can be attained, you shouldn't have to lock those guys in.

If you need some rotation help, Oswalt can be pretty effective.

You get 5 of them in the XP Reward Path. Won't happen overnight, but if you can grind it out, you can do it for free.

Buy them outright if you must. Then sell off "The 7" as you earn them through the XP Reward Path and you break even, all told.

I picked Oswalt as well, and he is a really good pitcher. Just recently I bought Helton and will try him for a while, as I believe he's the most overlooked 1B. He's got good power and is one of the best defenders at first.

Oswalt is by far the best. The other two are pretty solid bench bats at this stage of the game.

I picked Helton. Couldn't hit with him so I sold him and bought Oswalt. He is a good pitcher for me.

I picked Duke, now I wish I had picked Oswalt.
