Anyone’s 99 Mantle swing a noodle

It’s so weird because statistically I hit well with him, but for the life of me I can’t figure out his swing. I always drop my PCI with him and pop it up.

Well you said you can't hit with anyone, have you been practicing on legend?

Mantle rocks a 3rd leg at the plate for me. Dude doesn't even need a bat, he shifts his hips and that balls a flyin.

I started incredibly slow with him. First 100 AB he was hitting under .180 and like you, nothing was finding a gap. I think I had 1 double and 1 triple when a guy missed a diving catch.
I’m getting closer to 150 AB now and he’s up to 8 HR and slugging over .500. His avg still isn’t great, just under .240, but considering how bad I started with him, it’ll take a while. -

This...I have good stats with him and I’m over half way to his prestige, but it’s so erratic. Some games I’ll go 3-4 with 2 HRs and other games I’ll go 0-4 with all weak IF pop ups

Well you said you can't hit with anyone, have you been practicing on legend?
Yes sure have been. Did challenge of week and then practice mode Gallo vs Chapman on legend after watching Pitching Rebel’s video

I have prestige mantle and he's a beast for me.
I have noticed he hits a lot of line drive base hits and doubles, not an absurd amount of home runs, but they do come here and there.

I remember finally unlocking Mays last year and couldn’t hit with him (at least not like everyone else seemed to). Don’t have Mantle yet, but sympathize - to go through all that and not like the return on your investment...total kick in the dinger.
