Finally Happened to Me
-
Been like this for the last week.
-
I have 250 mb internet wired connection and there are days this can happen 3 to 4 times in a row. Soemtimes ill win. Sometimes ill lose. Sds and people here say its my internet but my 70$ a month thinks otherwise. Warzone has zero lag through hours of play so i blame the game. But its been happening to me all year. Probably 40 games in ranked even more in events. I dont lose them all tho is what is weird to me.

Not saying it is your fault, but just paying your ISP for your subscription on a monthly basis doesn't guarantee a properly functioning home network. You could have faulty cables, interference, DHCP problems or a firewall that's giving you issues. Many factors come into the equation.

Is it possible that people know how to exploit it? Both games I got disconnected from today, I was playing guys with decent records, but they didn't seem to have the skill required to match their records

This is the only reason I was curious, but after thinking about it, it seems like it's not as likely(although I'm seeing videos on the interwebs about it).
They've got some known server issues but my guess is it has to do with... Yes I'm gonna say it... not having ping based matchmaking lol -
I had this happen 2 days ago in a event game. I was getting my [censored] handed to me and I came back on the guy and the game just dropped. Said I lost connection but I ran a speed test on my phone and pc and got over 600mbps on both devices over WiFi and my ps4 pro is hard wired.

Was down 1-0 in the 3rd, nice competitive game rolling along with a good opponent and my first time seeing King Felix. Out of nowhere I get disconnected. Back to the main screen - apparently never lost connection to the show network - and I get tagged with the L.
This happened a LOT during the end of 18s cycle. I’ve read about others experiencing this frequently in the past week, so I’m sure I’m not alone, and this wasn’t a one time fluke. I am wired and pay my cable bills, there is something that needs to be addressed with the game to correct this.
Maybe the looters broke into SDS and started jiggling some wires?

If you look at my last 2 games first game it was tied going into the bottom the guy tried to stretch a single and i hosed him boom. And it counted as a friendly. Second guy same thing except we only play 1 or 2 out and then boom I got a disconnect it hasn’t happened to me all year and bam twice in 20 minutes

You make sense. But I play many other games. My kids have a ps4. And mlb is the only game with issues. They play fortnite with zero lag. 35 ping for hours straight. I cannot believe its on my end at this point.

Are you familiar with port forwarding and if so, have you forwarded ports that are used by PSN? Usually it changes your NAT type from moderate to open and it basically opens all traffic from certain locations. It's recommended and quite beneficial. If you're not familiar with it, I'd highly suggest you read into it and do it.
