By the time most people unlock Micky, sheff and biggio they'll never have the time to put up those numbers without boosting.
It's not that the stats are that bad to accomplish it's the online part. Everytime I'm hitting good the guy quits when u get up a few. Then other games u can square most your balls for lineouts. It really makes it feel pointless. -
Ok so you are saying that you would rather let people just play offline and get the best cards I personally think this idea is terrible

Agreed, let players choose a path to prestige then lock the one they don't choose.

For sure. For the reason the OP stated. If you hit well the guy quits. If you are striking the guy out, he quits. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pitched two innings with oswalt and they quit. And he isn’t even that good compared to other pitchers

For the most part it seems like offline players play offline and online play online. Not sure why so many people are scared of offline players suddenly showing up in online with good cards.

That's not what people are talking about/debating. They are talking about how you can't prestige cards unless you play online. So offline players that don't want to play online can't prestige. I think there should be an offline option, but like some people said above, it should be a higher amount, like 2 to 3x the stats.

As an entirely offline player it kind of annoys me that the option to prestige is not even there. In the end they should simply bump the stats needed so that it takes both online and offline players roughly the same amount of time to prestige.
In all honesty I don't know if I would even go out of my way to prestige a card unless it was just through normal use, but not even being given that option kind of annoys me.

Yes but those who play online could then simply go offline and expedite the process offline, negating the whole grind.

Play with real teams and current rosters H2H... how is it fun playing with entirely stacked fake teams in non mlb ballparks? Maybe I’m old school but have enjoyed playing with Texas lately online. U guys just wanna play with stacked fake teams lol

There should be a grind available for people offline that do not wish to deal with the toxic players online. If we're being honest less than 1% of the community is grinding those cards legitimately without boosting anyways so what's the difference if someone plays offline ? This is how immortals were basically grinded in 18 but, online stats counted too. They could literally make the offline 3x as many stats as the online one to "even" it out. Mke the game requirement veteran or all-star minimum and let people have fun with the game without forcing them to play against toxic players that SDS does nothing about anyways.

Have you seen the requirements to prestige Mantle? If you go offline to do it at 2x or 3x your not playing online for months lol. Only the guys that play 8 hours or more a day can pull that off and if they do they probably aren't going to take the time to do it that way anyway.

I mostly play offline but I have no problem with prestige stats being online only. I don't see a way to do it offline without making it way too easy for most players. It's supposed to be a grind that not everybody will be good enough or have the time to finish.

Same reason why they are scared of people who use directional hitting!!!
No good reason for it, but these people don't like other people playing the game in a manner that is different how they play it! -

Fun for me using a lesser team and trying to beat the yanks and doyers over n over. To each there own I guess
